Here is a blurb from the New York Post editorial.
"When the cops discovered that Goore' van was unregistered and his license suspended, they gave him two citations and ordered the vehicle towed away.
Then the attorney general showed up at the scene - in a state car, its emergency lights flashing, driven by a state trooper, on state time.
Within minutes, the tow was canceled, the cops tried to void the tickets, citing "incorrect information."Barely a half-hour later, Goore's license was mysteriously restored by the state Motor Vehicle Commission - which after continually shifting of accounts, that the move only reflected IMPROVEMENT IN CUSTOMERS SERVICE

Improvements in customer serviceJust damn, I sure wish they had the same service when I forgot to put my car insurance papers in my car and got stopped by a Trooper.

I agree. In PA we have "roving" seat belt checks. Just another excuse to sniff your breath. Are your papers in order?

>>>>News reports say Farber showed up at the traffic scene b/c Goober, er, ah I mean Gomer, was ferrying "confidential state documents" presumably concerning law enforcement, in his private car.
Maybe he has the missing FBI docs???

Oh, come on, folks! Zulima Farber? Can anyone, even known crooked democrats, really think this person is the right choice for state attorney general? My gosh! Can the state of New Jersey sink any lower?!

Irvington, huh? Acting Director, huh? Community Development and Planning too?
All sounds very hush, hush and important.
Should have sent a N.J. trooper to rescue his top-secret records. But I guess the Attorney General wanted to show what a hands-on official she really is.

"I can appreciate that my mere presence there may have caused an impression in the minds of police officers at that scene who may have thought that by my going there, I wanted something," Farber said. In other words: "I appreciate the police officers who recognized my power, my position, and my authority over them. I always expect that to happen when my presence on site becomes known. Why should I have to speak, especially to those who are to serve?"

The man at the center of the controversy has a spotty record as an attorney and as a businessman, as well as a driver. The New Jersey Supreme Court twice reprimanded Goore for failing to properly represent his legal clients and for filing false records with the court. Sleep with one and become one,,, ay Zu Zoo?
