I cannot even comprehend that idiotic comment about the press. He's truly lost his ever-lovin' mind.

Accountability is going to be the key. Corruption, talk about corruption.

One word....ABSCAM. John (neck deep in it) Murtha.

You guys [in the press] knew this wasn't going well. You didn't say a damn word, either.

Staggeringly delusional.

"I think I can help because I am more conservative.... There is an idea that [the Democrats'] leadership is very liberal and I think I bring some balance to that leadership."

That's the funniest damn thing I've heard in a long, long time.

The guy is mentally ill or has a severe alcohol problem. There's not a normal rational explanation for these comments.

LOL, ya gotta love it. The Dems may be dim but they surely recognize his insanity. It has to be making them squirm every time he opens his mouth.

Just for the record Coop I never for a single moment thought that CongressCritter Murtha of Abscam fame was out of stupid things to say or that he would hesitate for one second in saying them.

I think Mr. Murtha is just going goofy, as older people sometimes do.

For many, many years, he was in Washington, under the radar, bringing home the pork and all of a sudden he's a kos-head socialist peacefreak.

Really, he needs to see his doctor, maybe he's having a side effect from his medications and he can turn it around.

Apparently senility has set in. Goes right up there with that Okinawa comment and calling Rove fat when he's twice as big.

His statements are becoming more and more delusional. I find it hard to believe his close associates don't at least try to rein him in, he is making a complete fool of himself.

"We go into a place, we have to blow it up to protect American lives. I agree with that. That's the way we operate to protect Americans."

Do we blow the place up before or after we run away?

What is this dolt talking about?

Corruption, talk about corruption ... there [are] billions of dollars that disappeared and we don't know where it is.

Hey John, it's in the Big Dig. Ask Kennedy about it over drinks. He knows all about it.

Murtha...

"I want to deal with you guys awhile before I make any transactions at all, period.... After we've done some business, well, then I might change my mind...." ..."I'm going to tell you this. If anybody can do it -- I'm not B.S.-ing you fellows -- I can get it done my way." he boasted. "There's no question about it."... But the reluctant Murtha wouldn't touch the $50,000. Here on secret videotape was this all-American hero, tall and dignified in a disheveled way, explaining why he wasn't quite ready to accept the cash. "All at once," he said, "some dumb [expletive deleted] would go start talking eight years from now about this whole thing and say [expletive deleted], this happened. Then in order to get immunity so he doesn't go to jail, he starts talking and fingering people. So the [S.O.B.] falls apart."... "You give us the banks where you want the money deposited," offered one of the bagmen. "All right," agreed Murtha. "How much money we talking about?"

"Well, you tell me." "Well, let me find out what is a reasonable figure that will get their attention," said Murtha, "because there are a couple of banks that have really done me some favors in the past, and I'd like to put some money in....["] The dialogue continued as follows: Amoroso: Let me ask you now that we're together. I was under the impression, OK, and I told Howard [middleman Howard Criden] what we were willing to pay, and [This is where the available videotape begins]I went out, I got the $50,000. OK? So what you're telling me, OK, you're telling me that that's not what you know.... Murtha: I'm not interested. Amoroso: OK. Murtha: At this point, [This is where the available videotape ends] you know, we do business together for a while. Maybe I'll be interested and maybe I won't.... Right now, I'm not interested in those other things. Now, I won't say that some day, you know, I, if you made an offer, it may be I would change my mind some day.

"is no accountability in this administration "

Was this airhead around during the Klintoon years?

How about forming an independent bi-partisan commission to find the silverware and furniture that disappeared from the White House?

When you resolve THAT accountability problem, we might believe you ........ but then, anyone who has made such an ass of himself everytime he speaks is hard to consider EVER credible....
