I read his book. He describes himself as a conservative who wants to rescue his party from the ultra-right wing, power-hungry sociopaths masquerading as conservatives who've taken it over. I don't see myself as such an individual. Does any one else on this thread buy his self-characterization and his depiction of us? Me thinks Dean doth protest too much.

Dean is a vainglorious deceiver, always has been. His vendetta against Nixon drew attention away from his own criminal activities and laid them at Nixon's feet. Dean is best characterized as a slimey eel.

In other words, he describes the conservative movement the way the Michael More-ons of the world do...

A quisling conservative or simply a leftist liar, cant decide which.

This guy makes Benedict Arnold look good.

Dean is as much of a conservative and a Republican as is the average "lifelong Republican" who calls Rush to bash Bush.
