Wow, you almost make it sound like th Cold War never really ended. Surely Putin wouldn't support anti-American communist dictators in retaliation for America's support of the free democratic nations once enslaved to the same Soviet communism as Russia. It's almost as if Putin really laments the collapse of the Soviet Union he was always loyal to, and really wants to bring it back, worldwide communist revolution and all.
