This is perfect. The only voters he'll attract will be the hard left and anti-war types and the terminally clueless.
The Democrats are unbelievably stupid if they believe he will actually help more than he hurts, IMO.
I won't be surprised if he's put out to pasture by voters this fall.

Every Republican candidate in those districts should make Murtha's ABSCAM an issue and ask the Democrat opponents why they want to associate themselves with a person who was willing to sell out his country to a sheik, and an unindicted co-conspirator.

Murtha has just given his district the middle finger. This is the time when Congressional incumbents return to their homes during the recess and get to know their constituents again.
Instead, Murtha is criss-crossing the country campaigning on behalf of fellow Dim moonbats. This won't play well in his district, so that means Irey has all the room to campaign. People will come to the realization that Murtha is woefully out of touch. When the Dims (and Murtha) lose in November for the fourth consecutive election, reality will hit Murtha like a ton of bricks, as all of his so-called friends will ditch him within hours.
