Al-Qaida calls for Satanic war against Israel
I think you are correct. Wasn't it just this week, we heard about plans of sending suicide bombers into Lebanon, to attack Muslim Lebanese and create chaos?
In this morning's new Al Qaeda message, Dr. Ayman al Zawahiri reminds the world that the old adage "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is alive and well.
Although it's only been a few weeks since Zawahiri's amir, Bin Laden, issued a message threatening Shi'ite Muslims with attacks, Zawahiri this morning vowed to "not stand by idly" while the Muslims in Lebanon and Gaza are attacked by the Israelis. Although Sunni Islam is the predominent sect in Gaza, Hizbullah (the focus of the Israeli offensive) follows the Shi'ite branch of Islam.
This morning's video tape is a striking contrast to the normal Al Qaeda videos of Zawahiri, which for several years have featured the terror leader in front of a curtain or fabric backdrop. The tape shows Zawahiri in what appears to be a studio, in front of a backdrop with photographs of Bin Laden and the WorldTradeCenter exploding in flames.
In the message, Al Qaeda second-in-command Ayman al Zawahiri threatens the Israelis and the west in retaliation for the war in Lebanon.
Zawahiri's key points are:
* The world is a battle field open in front of us.
* This war with Israel cannot be ended by ceasefires or treaties.
* This is a jihad and will continue until the religion of Allah rules the world
* Everyone taking part in these attacks will pay the price

Which Holy War is this one? 26, 27..I've lost count. I guess Al Killya was feeling a little neglected and lost in the group meetings with Zaqwari pushing up Palm saplings and all.

Gee! this can't be right. I know from listening to the DBM/MSM/DNC that Al-Qaida is only in Afghanistan and their certainly not in Iraq much less Spain!!!!!/sarcasm

A picture of the burning World Trade Center was on the wall behind him along with photos of two other militants. One appeared to be a bearded Mohammed Atta, the Egyptian ringleader of the Sept. 11 attacks. The other was Mohammed Atef, also known as Abu Hafs al-Masri, a former top lieutenant of bin Laden who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Afghanistan in November 2001.
This passage bothered me. We are coming up on the 5th anniversary of 9/11. We are focused on Iraq and Israel. Iran is stirring things up. While these groups are separate, I believe they make alliances for a common cause.
