Excerpts of former President Bill Clinton's remarks earlier this month at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, Colo.
I don't know how long they can make this old dog hunt. Ever since 2000, the 2002 and 2004 elections were about, "No matter how bad you think we are, you can't vote for them, because you can't trust them to defend the country. And oh, by the way, forget about global warming; let's talk about flag burning and gay marriage." I mean, I just don't know how long you can milk that old cow without its milk running dry. ... My advice is that we should have a national campaign which basically reiterates what we believe the differences are between -- not just Republicans and Democrats, but the relatively discrete section of the Republican Party that is totally controlling national government. ...
Karl Rove said that he was going to say we lived in a pre-9/11 world and Republicans lived in a post-9/11 world. You tell me. Example one: The White House and the House Republicans opposed spending $648 million a year to put in very high-technology, sophisticated scanning equipment that would at least give us a screen on all the cargo containers coming into all the ports and airports in America. They said, "We can't do that. It's too expensive. ..."
What was their first priority this year? Repealing the estate tax. What does it cost? About $250 billion over 10 years! For less than 1 percent of the American people. ... So he's willing to spend more than 20 times what it would cost to put in this safe-port material. The Republican Party in the Congress are willing to spend more than 20 times what it would cost to make 300 million Americans safer to help less than 1...

Only useless, criminal liberals would care what Bill Clinton has to say about anything. It is still astonishing and scary that there are people that actually pay money to hear this perverted liar speak....
Is this useless waste of protoplasm still around? geez
Klintoon just has no shame, you'd think that with his "legacy", he'd want to stay out of the limelight. He's sadly mistaken if he thinks anyone has or will forget his tawdry and trashy performance as President. Just thinking of him as President of the US makes me ill.
"I mean, I just don't know how long you can milk that old cow without its milk running dry."
Slick Willy is always looking to milk something...
Keep talking Bill .. cause the more you talk .. the more you remind folks why another Clinton should NEVER be allowed back in the WH
He's just like Carter .. always trying to convience people that he wasn't Loser
Well, there's the wine (and whine) and cheese parties with the swells and "celebrities" (but no "little" people) and then there's the "party in his pants" parties.
That's the 2 kinds of Clinton parties.
Yes siree, Jim Bob Bubba do like to "party" with Juanita Broderick and Paula Jones and God knows how many other unfortunate victims.
Bubba gets the Elmer Gantry award again...
While we are not all great students of history or political discourse, we did experience your Presidency, and have seen the various international disasters your stewardship have brought upon us. Simply making a speech denying your ill-advised, foolish choices and negligence does not make it so.
In other words: You may sugarcoat sh** all you wish, but we're not biting.
My original reading of the title was "Bill Clinton's view of how panties differ"
C'mon Bill, she IS your wife.
Let Howie Dean and the NY Times sing his praises.
Weren't the stevedores in San Francisco violently protesting such screening measures
because their high-paying jobs would be in jeopardy?
I'm sure union dockworkers are Republican stalwarts(sarcasm).
If only people would stop paying Slick to open his mouth!
Thomas Sowell KNOWS "WHY" the parties differ:
