Desperately trying to re-capture her media darling status of August 2005 Cindy Sheehan has purchased a 5-acre parcel in Crawford, Texas using supporter, Gerry Fonseca to seal the deal.
Fonseca says he purchased the 5-acre parcel, which cost more than $52,000. The owner would not have sold the land if it was known it was to be used by Sheehan for political purposes reports KXXV-TV on its web site.

According to the AP, Fonseca also admits he doubts that any Crawford landowner would have sold to Sheehan or other protesters, so he didn't reveal his connection. Fonseca, who lost his Slidell, La., home in Hurricane Katrina, told sellers about that part of his life and that he wanted to build.
Basically - he admits he lied.
"I feel deceived," said Celia Ramsey, who sold the land to Cindy Sheehan through a third party. She talked to News Channel 25 exclusively on the matter. "I would have never sold it to Sheehan. Nobody wants them here."

That seems to be the consensus.
AP reports like many folks in President Bush's adopted hometown, 83-year-old Robert Westerfield isn't exactly rolling out the welcome mat for the town's newest resident: war protester Cindy Sheehan.
"I wish she'd stay away. Crawford's a Republican town, and she's a dumb Democrat," Westerfield, a lifelong Crawford resident, said Friday while sitting on a bench outside a gas station on Main Street.

Sheehan cares little about the residents of Crawford and their peace.
She just wants President Bush out of office and her face plastered all over TV and her name in the press. "I am very sad it came to this point where we had to buy a permanent home," said Sheehan. "I thought President Bush would have resigned by now. But I am happy about a permanent home in Crawford."
So - she lied to buy the property and will again force the residents of Crawford to deal with her far left gang of protestors for at least a month, or perhaps less if world events cause her lapdogs in the media to ignore her.
It should be interesting to see if the media has tired of her act.
This woman is a total SICKO!! I wish they would arrest this woman for stalking!
The media is part of her act.
I agree with areafiftyone....she has gone from being a pest to being dangerous....
Redundant statement
She will only be there is the media is there. Without the cameras she doesn't exist.
Give them a Texas summer and they'll be ready to leave.
Theres no gourmet food, no Starbucks, no fern bars.
You need your friends and neighbors in rural Texas.
It IS stalking, that's a perfect way to get her.
Redundant yes, but I enjoyed in immensely. ;-)
Oops, in = it, my apologies.
I wish they would arrest her and this time make her stay in jail. The thing I don't understand is - didn't this guy know about Cindy before he sold her the land? She was out there for a long time with her nutjobs. Couldn't he figure out what she wanted the land for?
Somebody needs to buy the mineral rights to the property and put oil rigs all over it...
"But I am happy about a permanent home in Crawford."
It will only be "permanent" until after the 2008 elections. Look for a "For Sale" sign on Wednesday. I just hope Fonseca either can't sell it, or he loses money on the deal.
Or they can round up all those rattlers and leave her and her guests a "welcome to the Neighborhood" present.
Momma was tired of all the neurology docs coming into her hospital room to interview and test her (she had a rare thymic carcinoma, or a "fascinoma"). Especially the latest - a bow-tied, brusque, who made much of his former job at "Haahvaad."
So, the answer to the question, "Name all the animals you can think of":
"Dogs, cats, elephants, lions, bears, tigers, horses, jackasses, and Democrats."
Where does Cindy reside? I mean, where is the home she lived in when Casey was alive? And where does her husband and relatives live...I think it's time to give her a piece of her own medicine. Although they're innocent...she needs to know how her actions effect everyone. And we need to wipe that smirk off her face.
I thought the same thing!
She is a threat, imo.
This sounds like a job for post-Kelo eminent domain....
He never intended to own it....although he gave the land owner a sob story about being a refuge from Katrina.
Fonseca was in cahoots with Cindy to immediately sell the land to her.
It was total deception and fraud.
Her husband left the nutcase a while ago, IIRC
Jeeze what a mess - thanks for explaining that! I had no idea.
How come none of the family has come out and told her to shut up...where are Casey's friends who can explain that's not how he felt...where are they all?

So I bet someone is going to pick up 5 acres really cheap in 08'
I suggested last week a truckload of Amarillo honey from the stock yards would help the place out. You know, a little hunous material for the garden.
Remember the old adage - "if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it...."
Stop showing up and stop listening, and this horror will go away on its own.
Enough with her already.
HUMMMMM, that's a good point.
"Give them a Texas summer and they'll be ready to leave."
I wish that were true. They spent a good part of last summer there and are coming back for more.
I believe her family wants nothing to do with her. They think she's as wacked as we do. Her husband did divorce her, I believe. And I think her son who died in Iraq wasn't really close to her either. I may be wrong and hopefully someone here will correct me if I am.
LOL!! Summer, winter, spring and fall are all h-o-t in Texas. I live in San Antonio and last week we entered into water restrictions 'cause we haven't had rain in months. It is scorchering here but men love it here. The gals walk around half naked..LOL!
The point of the post is that it was a "straw man" purchase. Sheehan had to have someone else buy the property for her. Some Socialist clown admits to lying to the woman who sold the property. He lied about why he was buying it, he lied about who he was buying it for, he lied about what the property was going to be used for.
Fonseca was in cahoots with Cindy to immediately sell the land to her.
It was total deception and fraud.
Deception, yes; fraud, no. Using a strawman as a buyer to conceal the identity of the actual buyer is not uncommon.
I hope they do, BUT the chances of that are............
well, I just saw slim leave!
And where did he get the money for the land? If he's a Katrina refugee then there's a good possibly you and I paid for this land.
Fear not. I read on an earlier thread this property is near Ted Nugent. Uncle Ted will know how to deal with this! Can you say WOLVERINE.
Isnt that *special*.....barf!
In my opinion, Sheehan jumped the couch a while ago. She is a liability to the Doomierats.
That being said, I am certain that the Crawford reidents will know how to deal with this nutcase. I am sorry that they have to, though.
I want to add that just because SHE says she paid for it, doesn't mean she did. I don't think this broad has paid for ANYTHING.
First, I am sure this isn't the first time in history that someone has lied when purchasing a piece of property.
That much said Sheenan is a caricature of herself, but also so very, very sad that I can only feel sorry for her.
Just like Lewinsky, she is simply a means to an end, stripped of humanity by the left (media). When this is over - in 2008 at the latest - this women will be left with absolutely nothing. Her son is dead and she disgraced him. Her husband left her. Her so-called friends will desert her for the next media whore to come along.
This is one of the saddest human beings I have ever seen. She is a hollow shell and, in some respects the living incarnation of the Democratic party.
The husband already has come out in opposition to her, numerous times... but, as you can imagine, the media mostly ignores him, and just reports her rants. How despicable.
Awesome! LOL
She'll sell for a loss in February, 2009.
Tells one something, does it not?
