A Lebanese Shia explains how Hezbollah uses Human Shields
Der Tagesspiegel ^ | 7/30/06 | Dr. Mounir Herzallah

Posted on 07/31/2006 1:49:58 PM PDT by abu afak

In a letter to the editor of the Berlin daily Der Tagesspiegel a Lebanese Shia explains how after Israel’s withdrawal from South Lebanon, Hezbollah stored rockets in bunkers in his town and built a school and residence over it.

""I lived until 2002 in a small southern village near Mardshajun that is inhabited by a majority of Shias like me. After Israel left Lebanon, it did not take long for Hezbollah to have the say in our town and all other towns. Received as successful resistance fighters, they appeared armed to the teeth and dug rocket depots in bunkers in our town as well. The social work of the Party of God consisted in building a school and a residence over these bunkers!

A local sheikh explained to me Laughing that the Jews would lose in any event because the rockets would either be fired at them or if they attacked the rocket depots, they would be condemned by world opinion on account of the dead civilians. These people do not care about the Lebanese population, they use them as shields, and, once dead, as propaganda. As long as they continue existing there, there will be no tranquility and peace.""

Dr. Mounir Herzallah Berlin-Wedding

Sounds a lot like Communist wars of "National Liberation."

Wars of national liberation

Because open warfare against target governments would simply lead to defeat, the Communists always disguise their revolutions as civil wars. They camouflage their intentions by pretending to fight for the liberation of one class of people from another, using a divide-and-conquer technique against a nation's social structure. This method is referred to as a "war of national liberation," and it adapts its tactics to the unique circumstances of each country. Such a war can pit industrial workers against capitalists, as in Russia, Catholics against Protestants, as in Northern Ireland, blacks against whites, as in South Africa--or Arabs against Jews, as in Israel. The Communists do not openly identify themselves, acting instead as representatives of the supposedly "oppressed" class of people.

By painting their revolution as a spontaneous uprising of "oppressed masses," the Communists hope to convince the target population that it faces an unwinnable war rooted in fundamental social tensions. If the government is also paralyzed and cannot stop the terrorism, public morale quickly drops and the weakening government loses popular support. Believing that the revolution must eventually win, the population abandons active opposition to the terrorists and instead sues for peace at any cost. The perception ultimately becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy as the government collapses altogether.

Well, the next time you see the "peace marchers" milling around with their banners and signs, realize that no matter what the signs and banners say, what they are really saying is:

*I want to live under Sharia law as a slave of Islam

*I want to see more Americans massacred and tortured

*I want to have to live the rest of my life in a burqa and subservient to all men

*I hate liberty, and want to get rid of it

Those are the true messages.

My wildest dream is that our attacks against Islamists would equal the force and destruction delivered to Dresden.....if not Hiroshima..

Then, perhaps the lunatic Islamist would see the misjudged the ferocity of the the infidels...

The time is ripe to insist that the primary agitators of Jihad -- suffer from their declared war.
Damascus and Tehran should be at the top of the list for total destruction... TOTAL....

Instead of attacking these military posts, Israel should attack Syria instead. Triangulated warfare. Hell they are one and the same. Destroy the economic infrastructure of Lebanon so the Lebanese will realize that an attack on Isreal will result in economic catastrophe for the avg Lebanese.

I have a long shot theory as to why Israel is going after Hesbollah now. The political end game will be a theocratic state since Hezbollah has launched the was against israel to solidify their hold on lebanese politics and make it a de facto mini-Iran, a theocratic state run by mullahs. Once this is a fait accomplis, the war will be waged again against Israel however this time Israel will have no choice but to destroy the "new Islamic state of Lebanon"

In the end, Israel will have the legitimacy to destroy once and for all thisexistential threat.

Is anybody else sick of the MSM always mentioning that Hezbolla operates schools and hospitals? Please! A murderer is a murderer is a murderer. If it walks like a terrorist, and target kills women and children like a terrorist, its a terrorist.

[UN] Expert on Trafficking in Persons Ends Visit to Lebanon September 15, 2005

In the course of my mission, I have found that a significant number of human beings, women in the majority, are trafficked into and within Lebanon. [snip]
Many of my interlocutors, including senior government officials, also acknowledged that widely held attitudes of discrimination on the basis of race, colour, ethnicity, and gender contribute to the prevalence of human trafficking.

Then and maybe only then will civilians either refuse to live like that or to accept terrorist among their neighbors.

The Nazis also used this stategy. As a matter of fact, the political machines of the Arab world learned this crap from the Nazis. The Nazis were arguably better at this than the communists--at least in Germany.

A Lebanese can explain why Hezbollah uses civilians as human sheilds. Who can explain why the West doesn't condemn them for doing so? The answer to THAT question is why Hezbollah hides behind women and children with complete satisfaction of being left blameless for the loss of innocent lives while Israel -- and indeed world Jewry -- is held responsible instead.

I therefore hold the advocates of moral equivalency to be more to blame than the actual participants.

When they ask you what it means, tell them this is what Islamists sing. Meaning Saturday they kill the Jews, Sunday the Christians.
