Mikey and Charlie both have that creep factor going on. At some point, people will see there are underlying reasons for it.
Any safe states out there for patients that have protections in their laws instead of conflicting statutes (Florida)?
Dr. Linda "Don't bother me. I'm over here trying to carry out a medical decision." (murder).
Several posters told of the enormous comfort to parents and family to have the child, even if only momentarily. I can add a story like that from my family. My nephew's wife had a very difficult pregnancy -- with triplets! To save her life, they had to induce birth at about six months. She had three boys, none as large as two pounds. One was not developed enough to have any chance. He lived only an hour, cuddled in my nephew's arms. The other two babies scraped through... barely, with months of intensive care. They are now robust, healthy teens. To the family, they are still triplets who fondly remember and honor their lost brother. Three trees are planted for them, and lovingly tended by the boys themselves, at a family home in the northwoods.
Suicide on Stage was so distasteful but starving/dehydrating Terri was the right thing to do because everybody is beholding to Mr. GOP Mel Sembler (son is Crist's campaign manager). For some reason, the Counter-Republicans all wanted Terri dead. That's what I'd like to find out. Why do Michael Schiavo so many favors, big favors, lawbreaking favors and the Sheriff hires him to boot.
What does Michael Schiavo have on Florida's Republican Party that would lead them to take the life of Terri Schindler Schiavo? Or, what does George Felos have on Florida's Counter-Republicans?
Counter-Republicans is a new twist on RINOS which I'm sick of repeating. John McCain and Charlie Crist are Counter-Republicans.
Crist is a secularist by his actions. I believe the Greeks invented the word "euthanasia". He's Greek. He's not pro-life.
"Prolife" has become a meaningless term in American politics because prolifers have allowed it to become meaningless. They just believe everything "prolife" politicians tell them.
"...But one day I trust you will set aside the impressions programmed into you by media accounts and/or even your friends in the law here in Pinellas county, and develop an independent curiosity about these matters. She was NOT brain dead. That is a fraud constructed by a judge intent on killing.
Terri Schindler Schiavo was an aware of self human being who could laugh and cry and to the limits of her severely injured abilities, she could talk. The woman loved ice cream, and loved her father's jokes, and her mother's voice. Terri Schindler Schiavo screamed for her life. What happened here was a homicide.
...What happened here was no less evil than murders committed under color of law you investigated for so many years. You do remember, in another time, killers came first for the weak and disabled. What happened here had nothing to do with right to life or right to die; nothing to do with government intruding into private family decisions. This was about a husband's need to dispose of an inconvenient wife; it was about government exploiting that husband, using this case to establish a precedent for "futile care" disposal of worthless human flesh. And to accomplish that purpose, politically connected people here successfully crafted "designer legislation" as an outgrowth of the governor's 1999 commission on death and dying.
It was about an attorney general.... and state attorney shutting down a investigation of issues on several potential felony criminal fronts. This was about what was to have been a most of a million dollar easy payday for lawyers hired to kill."
FV SAYS: Charlie Crist Let Terri Schiavo Die. It always comes back to his violation of his oath of office. This was an email sent to me and more materials regarding Charlie Crist have been emailed to me by someone else. I won't post that email only after close scrutiny because it is in the form of an Affidavit. FV
I don't know if this will help much, but it was a pack hunt. Liberals do everything in packs. Being a member of the pack -- clique -- and picking up all the signals and vibrations from the group replaces individual thinking for them. They don't have to think at all, just listen to the current line, most often from the media. There is no give or take, no contemplation, no doubting any point of the party line, no listening to other points of view, no cheerful forum talk. They all make the same case for the cause du jour, and the mode for it is always sullen and combative.
Grown up discussions are not like this at all. Grown-ups have doubts and don't pretend to know everything. They don't think with templates. They can talk it out. If they learn more facts, they can change their view.
If your goal is to find the truth, discuss the case with open-minded grown-ups. If your goal is to obfuscate the truth, join a pack of groupthinkers.
Cronyism, nepotism, liberalism, corruption. Do we really want more of the same? I know I don't. TOM GALLAGHER FOR GOVERNOR!
The winds over there blow from down to up.

FINAL DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION: THE CHOICE IS CLEAR
This is an important day. We have approximately 20 hours before the polls open in what is shaping up to be one of the most important primary elections of our time. There is a lot to think about this Labor Day weekend. People are going to be taking time away to be with their families, enjoy some football, and get some rest.
However, while you are spending time with your families, remember that tomorrow will be an important time for your families as well. Voters will face a clear choice as to whether to continue on the conservative path blazed by Governor Jeb Bush or to choose a more liberal path blazed by the likes of Howard Dean and John Kerry. Remember as you make that choice that our Party will not be made stronger by seeking détente with the Democrats on issues that will define who we are as a society. The choice is clear.
Tom Gallagher will protect our economic strength by not raising taxes, and he will take leadership on the homeowners insurance crisis. Tom Gallagher will work with Congress to protect our borders and stop the flow of illegal immigration that threatens our security. And Tom Gallagher will protect our families by defending traditional marriage and the unborn.
Charlie Crist has broken ranks with conservative leaders and endorsed the liberal Democrat class-size amendment that was part of Bill McBrides education plan and which even Jeb Bush has said will raise your taxes. Charlie Crist has irresponsibly endorsed the Senate Immigration Plan which provides illegal immigrants with amnesty before our borders are secured. Charlie Crist supports the Howard Dean plan of civil union-style gay marriage. And Charlie Crist is pro-choice.
Please urge your friends, neighbors, and family to turn out tomorrow and support Tom Gallagher for Governor. The future of our state and the future of our Party will depend upon your actions.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support, and we look forward to campaigning with you in the general election.
The update is now getting some traction with an article by Steven Eltert of Life News.
Boston, MA (LifeNews.com) -- Haleigh Poutre was the victim of child abuse and was nearly killed via euthanasia when Massachusetts officials gave up on her after she entered a coma. Now Poutre, once termed "brain dead" by doctors, continues to improve and is speaking a few words, her grandmother says.
Sandra Sudyka, the girl's biological grandmother, is no longer allowed to visit her granddaughter and now says she is ready to speak to the media about Poutre's condition.

Terri on the road to recovery before the second stage began.
Rauch writes that I dont explain whether I think women should get jail terms for seeking abortions, instead mumbling that the pro-life movement does not necessarily seek jail time for women and that fining doctors and revoking medical licenses might suffice. Continuing in the same vein, Rauch asks whether I would punish the discarding or destroying of embryos as first-degree murder. And: If human life is inviolable, then why should it matter whether a hopelessly vegetative patient someone like Terri Schiavo left instructions not to be fed? Surely, from Ponnurus perspective, the doctors caring for her cannot ethically conspire to starve her to death even if she would prefer to die. If every abortion is infanticide, could even the most life-threatening pregnancy be ended? We dont have a health exception to the murder laws.
First clue to bias is the misspelling of Terri's name. Sounds like a seminar caller to Rush...
Once in a while I try to read something that has the stack decked against it in my head. In one of the biggest Right-To-Life cases of the past few years, the death of Terry Schiavo, my mind is at best riding the fence, and my opinions skew from both sides to something in the middle. That's why I to read Fighting For Dear Life (copyright 2006, Bethany House), by David Gibbs, the attorney for Terry's parents. But I'm still skewed.
