You're right. I am a graphic designer by trade, and not only do you need to find the photo, it needs to be a hi-res photo to go up to this size and still be recognizable. You can't do an internet grab of a lores image and pull this off. I'm in the camp of people who say this banner would have taken at least 3-4 hours of design and production on state of the art equipment, with hi-res photos in hand, before ANY print could have been made. With UV inks there would be no drying time, but beyond the print time, just simple logistics like getting the banner image ripped to the printer, adding grommets to the banner, delivering to the site...these all take time.
The appearance of rigor mortis in the bodies photographed suggests that they were already dead for quite some time before the bombing.

I'm not sure how to post links, but here is a video from youtube.com of the green-helmet man in qana and he is speaking arabic. The title of the video is "eye-witness" and leads you to believe this man is al-jazeera. Any idea what he's saying?

The reporter was questioning the “Green Helmet” why it took them too long to arrive to the scene, many hours after the raid. The Green Helmet guy told him that because Israel was shelling them, that is why they were delayed.

The video does not lie. I beleive that they were justified in taking this target out. Why did the residents not flee when they had a chance to. My best guess is that they were dead already.
