Posted on 08/02/2006 3:16:20 AM PDT by aerotsmith
Israel's air attack on Qana on July 30 resulted in the death of 37 children.
Hezbelloh has been accused on using civilians, including children, as human shields. The Israeli government claims that the death of innocent children was a "tragic mistake."
Regardless of the underlying facts, 37 precious children are dead. Victims of non-ending war in the Middle East.
Media images of those dead and mutilated children are haunting reminders of the horror of war and the carnage visited upon the most innocent and vulnerable among us.
Seeing dead and suffering children also brings to mind the stern warning issued by Jesus in Matthew 18: 6:
'But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.'
Jesus made no allowances for 'Collateral Damage' or 'Tragic Mistakes,' all too common during a bloody war.
The millstone would appear to apply to all who harm His 'Little Ones.'
However, although Jesus made no mention of intent, one can safely assume that the darkest, most punishing, corners of hell are reserved for those who deliberately use innocent children to wage war by using their young bodies as weapons of mass destruction.
Indeed, deliberately forcing a child to strap explosives to his or her body as a suicide bomber just to kill civilians, including other innocent children, is beyond comprehension.
Such barbaric behavior must surely be far more grievous than being party to an act of war in which children are mistakenly, and unintentionally, harmed.
Nearly 2000 years after Jesus, Israeli Prime Minister Golda Mier remarked that peace will be realized in the Middle East at such time as Muslim Arabs love their children more than they hate the Israelis.
Unfortunately, that day has not yet arrived.
Man's inhumanity toward man continues unabated, including unspeakable offenses against the world's 'Little Ones.'
Woe be unto those!
The Koran says it's okay to kill kids.
The trolls are thick and ugly on Free Republic today and yesterday! it's as if there's a coordinated troll attck underway-where are the kitties?
Go read the Koran, troll, about how the followers of the moon god allah and his pervert mohammed are exhorted to kill every man, woman, and child of the "infidel",and how "the very stones" cry out to say "there is a Jew behind me" so that the Islamopigs don't miss any heads in their blood lust.
Or go read that the stated aims of Hizbollah,Hamas, and the other terror groups are to wipe Israel off the map,and her people into the sea.
And Israel is supposed to just lie there and enjoy it?
Jesus always has, does, and always will love all the little chidren everywhere.
Thank You Jesus.
Ynetnews.com, an invaluable resource for Middle East news, looks at the role of blogs scrutinizing the Qana incident.
Just doing the job the MSM won't do.
The truth is worth pursuing. "World opinion" be damned.
Schlussel: There's one thing Muslims and the media love more than dead Jewish kids
An LGF reader has forwarded the following email (I suppose you could say our reader leaked it), sent to all Associated Press employees, congratulating themselves on the propaganda photos from Qana and awarding the photographers cash prizes: link: 200 comments " Jihad's fifth column. And proud of it. MSM = death whores. "
EU Referendum has an update on the Hizballah rescue worker in the green helmet, the guy who paraded around with childrens bodies for hours at Qana, posing them for photographers.
Turns out that Green Helmet Guy must be the official Hizballah body handler; he has a history of turning up at attack sites and putting on ghoulish shows. EU Referendum found a photo from 1996, apparently showing the same person displaying another dead child to photographers: Who Is This Man? (WARNING: Graphic images.) Mitchell Bard, in today's WT reminds us of who Hezbollah really is and the number of Americans murdered by these Koranimals:

I think I may have found him, and Green Helmet Guy is a Hizb'allah biggie.
Compare EUReferendum's 1996 photo with the headless corpse
to this 2001 photo of Hizb'allah recruits being sworn in at a ceremony with Nasrallah and his top cronies.
Look at the guy sitting directly behind Nasrallah. Compare him to EUReferendum's photo.
"Israel's air attack on Qana on July 30 resulted in the death of 37 children."
Not according to the Lebanese Red Cross and the ICRC:
30-07-2006 Press Release 06/83
Lebanon/Israel: ICRC alarmed by high number of civilian casualties and disrespect for international humanitarian law
Geneva (ICRC) - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is alarmed by the increasing number of civilian casualties resulting from the ongoing armed conflict.
In today's military operations by the Israel Defense Forces against the village of Qana, a building sheltering civilians was directly hit. At the time of writing, the Lebanese Red Cross Society and the Lebanese Civil Defense have extracted 28 bodies from the rubble, 19 of whom are children.
Seems about right to me....
Now if we could just find a way to stop all those Jews from blowing up Arab mosques and pizza places, and keep all those born again Christians from flying planes into buildings.... everything will be OK.
(Kumbaya my lord....kumbaya .... kumbaya my lord kumbaya........)
Yes, collaboration with the enemy can be rationalized with "spiritual" (AKA vague, symbolic) rhetoric. Ancient Rome and once-Nazi Germany used it in their efforts to destroy Judaism. Now, remnants of the same are trying it again from our midst.
The problem for anti-Israel people in our own nation is that Israel's worst contemporary enemy wants to destroy us all. Israel's various enemies has proven themselves to be our enemies many times, including the periods of early America (religious freedom from Israel-hating Euro-tyrants), WWII and the Cold War.
Now...the War on Terror. Take the propaganda for our terrorist enemies elsewhere. It doesn't belong in the USA.
I may have jumped the gun,but I'm sick to deayh of seeing blame cast on Israel for taking the only action they could possibly take in this situation, and because it is NEVER acknowledged by these apologists that Israel goes out of its way to prevent civilian deaths, taking into account the protection of its own citizens. The terrorists target Israeli citizens, including children. When Hizbollah rockets killed those two little Arab Israeli boys, the monster Nasrallah called them "martyrs",and the Palestinians, and yes,the lebanese people, supported him! But when the Israelis attack an identified rocket launching site, and unintentionally kill civilians, whom Hizbollah chose to situate amongst, they are castigated by the world.Where is Nasrallah now? Is he not proud of these "brave martyrs" also,as he was of the two little boys in Israel when the rockets targeting civilians killed them?
And I am seeing a LOT of trollish activity in the last day and a half or so here on Free Republic, and I am not one of the troll watchers. In a thread I just left,I have never seen so much apologism for the homosexual agenda. It was almost(but nowhere nearly as filthy) as reading DU.
Yes this is a Quisling posting, a vile rat.
You weren't wrong at all.
Thanks,I'm glad it wasn't just me.the line about the Arabs not hating their children(fat chance! they know nothing but hate, and lust for sheep)was just a red herring.
Please don't confuse the word Arab with the word Muslim. There's nothing wrong with Arabs.
Actually, quoting the Bible is easy.
Explaining it and putting into context is a
more difficult task; but it can be done if one
so desires to.
For the record and archival purposes:
FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES:
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
I read it as condemning as despicable the use of children as human shields by the Hezbians.
It wasn't my line,it's the line from the OP. Thank you.
I'm seeing the same thing-- here, at our Canadian Sister Site Free Dominion, and in the blogs "comments" sections. Something is really stirring them up.
What total unadulterated crap! IT MOST CERTAINLY GOES TO MOTIVE, HE LOOKS AT THE HEART! This sounds like goofball theology from some liberal denomination or peace group.
Go drink some more coffee and read the whole post.
When these people start quoting the Bible,I wonder why they've never happened to see the part about the woe that will befall those who turn against Israel?
FYI - PROPAGANDA On The Net....
And Israel is supposed to just lie there and enjoy it?"
Who in the world suggested that? Talk about trolling!
Why do you think this is a troll posting?? The bottom line is "there will be peace when Arabs love their children more than they hate Jews".
Seems about right to me."
Exactly right. Forcing a child to use his young body as a weapon of mass desy=truction is about as sick as one can get.
"The Koran says it's okay to kill kids."
And Jesus said NOT SO!
"The media war against Israel"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "LONDON - Large sections of the international media are not only misreporting the current conflict in Lebanon. They are actively fanning the flames.
The BBC world service has a strong claim to be the number-one villain. It has come to sound like a virtual propaganda tool for Hezbollah. As it attempts to prove that Israel is guilty of committing "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity," it has introduced a new charge -- one which I have heard several times on-air in recent days."
I can agree with that. But the solution is for the international community to work up some indignation at the terrorists for doing it,not at Israel for defending their children from the rockets. And Israel is not in a position to do nothing.
Now...the War on Terror. Take the propaganda for our terrorist enemies elsewhere. It doesn't belong in the USA."
Matthew 18 is 'propoganda?' Sick!
"It could be that Jesus didn't feel the need to state the obvious."
Really? Seems obvious that offending little ones is not good---why bother mentioning it?
Thank you mrsmel.
"What total unadulterated crap! IT MOST CERTAINLY GOES TO MOTIVE, HE LOOKS AT THE HEART! This sounds like goofball theology from some liberal denomination or peace group"
So, there is a missing scripture where Jesus says:
My previous warnings about offending Little Ones is unadulterated crap! If you have a good heart, be my guest---kill all the children who get in the way!
One day, some unknown imams turned up in the village. They called the whole population to the plaza in front of the police station, and they announced that they came with good news from Imam Khomeini: The Islamic Army of Iran had been chosen to liberate the holy city Al Quds--Jerusalem--from the infidels. ... The local mullah had decided that every family with children would have to furnish one soldier of God. Because Hossein was the most easily expendable for his family, and because, in light of his illness, he could in any case not expect much happiness in this life, he was chosen by his father to represent the family in the struggle against the infidel devils.Der Spiegel as quoted at http://www.tnr.com/doc.mhtml?i=20060424&s=kuntzel042406
Of the 20 children that went into battle with Hossein, only he and two others survived.
I can agree with that. But the solution is for the international community to work up some indignation at the terrorists for doing it,not at Israel for defending their children from the rockets. And Israel is not in a position to do nothing"
Agreed. Suggested nothing counter to that.
Thought I waw pretty clear that those who actually use their offspring as suicide bombers will be assigned to a special and awful part of hell.
Right. You shouldn't kill kids. The people who killed these kids are the Hezbians. They are the ones who uses them as human shields; the blood is on their hands.
STUPID rant !!!!
Israel did not kill those children, the heathen scum terroist put them in harms way like the cowards that they are...it is the terrorist who will have the mill stone around their necks.
... and he's right.
But without the word Muslim, the statement would be incorrect.
So just what does Israel do in response to rockets being launched at their children from the midst of civilians by Hizbollah terrorists,if they can't stop those rockets by returning fire to destroy the rockets?"
What do YOU think Jesus would say in response to you question?
