One way that the press knows when something hot is happening in DC is when the local takeout places get a surge of orders.
It is called traffic analysis and quite a lot can be determined from it.
And we didn't isolate them - they just moved overseas.

Not hard to determine when there's breaking news in the middle east - Al Jazeera maintains quite a few servers in the US now.
And we didn't isolate them - they just moved overseas.
We isolated a propaganda arm from the highest bandwidth, we're not treating them as a news organization. That's doing something. As for the zillion middle east message boards - some are located in the US, others are located overseas. This wasn't a message board, it was a broadcaster of propaganda.
