The Republican candidate for the 4th is a black conservative woman named Catherine Davis. I'm not in this district so I don;t know much about her. She might have a shot against Hank Johnson because it seems to me that this district really favors black women.

Neal Boortz has some good comments about wanting her to WIN because it is better to have someone like her as the face of the Democratic party, she is largely ineffective, considered a liablilty by other Dems, etc.
OTOH, it would just be SO MUCH FUN to watch her (and her father) go NUTS just before, during, and after the election like they did the last time she lost and blamed it all on the JOOOOOOOOZZZZZ.

"Is this the same McKinney who lost her seat and then complained about gerrymandering in Georgia that prevented black elections? So, several states redistricted and put so many blacks in one district that they were assurred of one representative but never more than that? Blacks might be 30-40% of population, but will never see more than one representative.
She was re-elected but once a loser always a loser.
