Just put some blades on the top, and it could be a wind farm, and get some government subsidies.

I don't care about simcox, it's our open borders that are destroying our country. The illegal alien army that is invading us with our politicians blessings.
The MinuteMen brought the illegal alien problem out into public debate.

And then PT Barnum took the reigns and it became a sideshow.

In brief, what was uncovered with their finances?
Registered gives me the impression they were ripping off donations and not building fences.

True, the issue is still in play. That's why it's so important that there is accountability and truthfulness to all these groups that are pushing it. Unfortunately, all I am seeing are a bunch of scam artists that have made it a career out of using hot button issues to fleece honest, patriotic Americans. Some donors have even MORTGAGED their homes and sent hundreds of thousands of dollars into these groups (ie, MinutemanHQ) who act as if the only accountability standards they have to abide by are those found in the IRS guidebooks.

Is this being photographed from south of the border or north of the border? Who's the sucker?
To: A CA Guy
Registered gives me the impression they were ripping off donations and not building fences. They are just like the federal government ripping off the taxpayers and not controlling our borders. This picture and the picture that Travis McGee used to post of the broken border fence makes me feel like a sucker.

Bottom line, was the border fence money raided for their personal use beyond needed marketing and traveling expenses or were the guys in the company ripped off by their accountants or is everything OK?

True, the issue is still in play. That's why it's so important that there is accountability and truthfulness to all these groups that are pushing it.I agree 100%. When donations are involved, there must be clarity on where and how those funds are spent.
Those, if an investigation proves they are scam artist need to be kicked out. That's no reason to throw the baby out with the bath water because of a couple of possible, and I say possible, crooks.

"The Declaration Alliance and the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps organizational entities are both in full compliance with IRS regulatory statutes and filing obligations," the statement said, adding that financial disclosure forms will be submitted by Nov. 15.We'll all know come Nov. Until then, the more they scream scam artist, the more the MM project is doing their job and pissing off a lot of OBL.

In all sincerity, I don't have the time or patience to hold your hand through Guidestar. I can't do your own research. Perhaps you should just be in the "I'll wait til the November filing" group?

The left sure hates the Minutemen. They must be doing something right.
In the statement, Mr. Simcox said that a fully accredited, independent auditor had begun an accounting of income and expenses and that a final audit would be delivered to the Internal Revenue Service by Nov. 15. It also said MCDC financial operations are overseen by professional banking institutions, accountants, auditors and lawyers, none of whom was identified.
Then why are your panties in such a twist? Nov, will get here.

Well I don't feel Minuteman folks need to answer to me for anything, but for the sake of their reputations, I would consider not sitting on their defense of offense back against these charges.
Shutting up doesn't work IMO in cases like this.
