Joe, I'm voting for the man who can beat Davis. Looks like Charlie has the best chance, plus I like my gun rights!

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't Gallagher the main creator of Citizens Insurance. If that is the case, anyone running against him, either in the primary or in the general election simply needs to bring up that fact. Gallagher will lsoe votes just on that point, IMHO.

Crist just made a big blunder. I'm not posting it because then he'll try to fix it. He'll just have to wait and see.

Crist is like Janet Reno. Trial lawyer and he likes the feds. He likes the feds a little too much. I don't think he believes in state's rights.

At this point, I wouldn't even trust a republican polling firm.
Look at how so called Republicans have been giving Katherine H. the scorched earth treatment.

Gallagher won the Bay News 9 Townhall debate v. Crist. Gallagher beat Crist 71 percent to less than 30 per cent.
Guess that doesn't count....and the televised debate was broadcast in Crist's neck of the woods.

I'm not voting for Crist, but no one could be as bad as Janet Reno.

Janet Reno was devious but at least she was smart. He's so programmed - there's another debate in about a week. Hopefully, you can catch it where you live. The pre-programming just oozes out of Crist. He loves the feds. In that regard, he and Janet Reno are on exactly the same page.

The statewide telephone survey was conducted July 24-25 by the Republican polling firm McLaughlin & Associates for a unit of Associated Industries of Florida, a statewide lobbying group representing 11,000 businesses. From the article: The statewide telephone survey was conducted July 24-25 by the Republican polling firm McLaughlin & Associates for a unit of Associated Industries of Florida, a statewide lobbying group representing 11,000 businesses. I would be suspicious of these numbers too, except for the fact that they are in line with every single state-wide poll that has been conducted in the past month and a half.

How has Crist expressed his 'liking' the feds? How does he and Gallagher differ on state's rights?

I wish Jeb could just be our forever governor here. FL has one of the lowest unemp. rate in the country. Can you say low taxes?

" Gallagher's past support, during his 1994 run for governor, for a ban on assault weapons, a push for registration of bullets and a ban on gun sales to those 21 and younger."
Sorry, in a work and lurk mode. This is what I was referring to.

Gun rights? Stay tuned.
At a gun show in Miami this weekend, Victor Bean - owner of the Southern Classic Gun and Knife Shows - had removed from the show a table offering Gallagher campaign material. Bean, the state's largest gun show operator, cited Gallagher's past support, during his 1994 run for governor, for a ban on assault weapons, a push for registration of bullets and a ban on gun sales to those 21 and younger. more:

How many years ago was that? 1994. Gee, come up with something more current than that. That was twelve years ago... Crist is using special interests. He is using gun owners. He could care less about your rights. How's it feel being used?
