We need to resolve the status of illegal immigrants who are already here. They should not be given an automatic path to citizenship. This is amnesty, and I oppose it. To quote another President who shared a comparable view of the elasticity of language, "It all depends on what the meaning of 'is' is."

I don't know why the open borders, amnesty crowd doesn't get it!

2500 illegals apprehended over almost 2 months? Why, it could be 15000 for the whole year at that rate! What is needed is minefield belt and a freefire marksmanship training zone along the border.
