Reuters Doctoring Photos from Beirut?
Little Green Footballs ^ | August 5, 2006 | Charles Johnson

OK, now things are getting weird.

This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop “clone” tool to add more smoke to the image. (Hat tip: Mike.)

It’s so incredibly obvious, it reminds me of the faked CBS memos. Smoke simply does not contain repeating symmetrical patterns like this, and you can see the repetition in both plumes of smoke. There’s really no question about it.

But it’s not only the plumes of smoke that were “enhanced.” There are also cloned buildings. (See below.)

Can't get more convincing than that! Clearly a fake - and a bad one at that.

Rather suspicious, isn't it?

" Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke"
This is exactly what The Discovery Channel did in their cr@ppy documentary called "Global Warming:what you need to know." Sensationalist, fake bullsh!t!

I don't know what is worse, Reuters or the Associated Press in this country and their blatant backing of Hillary Clinton...

OMG that is the worst fake I've seen since this...

Boy that Cambodia doesn't look so bad. Nice beach, fishing boats aplenty.

I was told by someone at a government agency (not THAT one) that checking such things as passport photos could spot a ton of fakes with various autocorrelation techniques. Never had the time to try it myself, but that picture sure looks as if it would have a ton of "spikes" in it.

I'd use tinyurl, but I don't think it's allowed.

Two things about this story. First, look at that baby's foot and the way that he is being held up like first prize for the photographers' benefit. Something is very wrong with that baby, and I don't think it was a bomb death. Also, FReeper Diogenisis has a time lapse photo array of the little girl wearing the orange shirt, in the ambulance with clean shirt, in the ditch with dirty shirt, three hours later.

Next, any time it's Reuters, check the names of the reporters and photographers. Mostly Arab Muslim reporters and almost always Arab Muslim photographers. Rueters is Al-Jeezera with a EU name. They stink.

Great picture! The guy in the middle is from the local Ice Cream Parlor right? A soda jerk? no just a jerk.
