I was just trying to get caught up on all the threads about this fake. Drudge and Worldnet Daily give credit to LGF for spotting this. Also Israeli papers are giving them the hat tip. Did Freepers break this first? Just checking. It seems Freepers are missed a lot- like on the Dan Rather forgery -when credit is given.
I remember the first mention on this from a Free Republic thread and although I have no computer skills I remember thinking that it really did look fake.

No one sophisticated enough to tweak the smoke cloud to make the destruction look ten percent larger would let that clumsy photoshop job slip by.

I'm wondering about this pic here. The pants look dirty and bloodstained, which would make sense. But the kid's hair, T-shirt, and skin look pretty darn clean for somebody who was pulled out from under building rubble, especially when you compare it to other victim pics. I'm supposed to believe that this kid wouldn't have concrete dust in her hair and skin that has a shine like she's just out of the bathtub? If I'm wrong here, talk to me.

You'd think. I found another 'before' photo that is inconsistent.

In the first pic, notice there is no dried blood out of the right corner of her mouth. But there is when she's being held for display in front of the ambulance. Her skin and hair look remarkably clean for somebody pulled out from under building rubble. Hmmm...

Hey, Tom, that's not the worst of it. The Yahoo link that originally held the fabricated Reuters photo now resolves to a photo of 10 dead Israeli soldiers (May G-d bless them all).

Talk about adding insult to injury.

And there was enough internal evidence in the fraudulent image itself to convict them in front of a jury. They've got enough trouble as it is; from now on we will remark about any Reuters image, "Sometimes Reuters Photoshops."

Hey, if we're going the acronym route, let's label future Reuters pics as, "Cravenly, Reuters Authorizes Photoshopping!"

Another gaping hole in the dinosaur hide of Last Century MSM. It stands to reason that if the MSM cannot be trusted from restraining themselves from using fakery domestically, then their temptation to utilize fakery abroad is multiplied ten-fold, where there are no witnesses to their freelance fraud.
