Are they scared or just PC?

I think that it's quite a bit of both, unfortunately.

Too bad everybody doesn't have as good of a perspective on things as you do.   :-)

I don't know, there seems to the battle of the "ists", the Idealists versus the Realists. I think I'm a Realist. Unless I am a delusional Idealist who thinks she is a realist.

I would have accepted the apology as an attempt to reach out -- if it wasn't for the news about the guy's anti-Israel protest and other anti-Israel statements.

I must apologize for the delays in my replies to your posts....it seems that a plumbing valve in the water system here at the stoat cave has broken and I have been running around trying to fix it as well as conversing here, and I regret that my end of the conversation is suffering. :-(

I don't know how effective I am going to be with things here at FR for the rest of the evening.

Again, my apologies :-(

(((sad)))

The Muslimes had their chance they blew it. They sentenced themselves to third class citizen status within 6 months of 911 when they did not mountout a Battalion of Islamic Voluteers to the US Army specifically formed to fight the Islamofacists.

Thank you very much for your kind words  :-)

It's almost done....just a bit more tomorrow  (it seems I need to replace the kitchen faucet as well)

That's always a possibility I suppose, so, given that reality, it's probably best to just go with your 'best guess', since whatever reality you are perceiving may in fact be a delusion, and so then nothing is verifiable.  If that's the case, then your best guess is the best you can do  :-)

If someone asks you to verify something, you can just tell them that they are part of your delusion and so you are not obligated to give information to the product of a delusion.  That should cause the person to either walk away shaking their head or call the police.  If the police arrive, it's never a good idea to assume that they are a delusion, so just be nice and courteous and answer their questions with your best guess, as in the previous paragraph   :-)

LOL ~

Too cool.

I watched part of Keith Olbermann's "expose" of BUSHCO using terrorist "threats" to offset "negative" press about the war in Iraq. What delusion does Keith live in?

"wink"   :-)

I'm afraid I very rarely watch TV...I like to spend what free time I have listening to talk radio and causing trouble on the internet (when I'm not fixing the plumbing at the stoat cave).and so I only have a passing familiarity with him, mainly from short soundbites and clips of a few of his hysterical rantings.  I watch so little television that I don't even have cable....just an old-fashioned antenna atop the stoat cave.

He seems to be like so many hardcore Leftists; people who are very sad and empty inside and who embrace the Left as their all-encompassing religion. He seems a bit more unhinged than most and is prone to high-pitched juvenile shouting, at least from the few clips of him that I've heard.

He sounds like someone who may be amusing to watch for a moment or two strictly as entertainment, much as one might watch a video clip of a building being explosively demolished.  You watch it once and marvel at it's intensity and then instantly forget about it and go on to something that actually has meaning and substance in the world.

I think that many on the Left are absolutely coming unglued because they have been trying for years to pin a 'scandal' of some sort on the President Bush and his administration, and they have gotten exactly nothing because the people in the Bush administration appear to be genuinely honorable and good people.  They can't believe that they have failed so miserably in their efforts to find scandal, because in their twisted minds they need to find fault in the Bush administration in order to be able to say "look!  the Republicans are evil!  They make Bill Clinton look like a saint!"

Hopefully you won't let whatever he may have said trouble you....I'm sure that it's all fantasy and has no foundation in truth and fact.

Hi Stoat

What I find disturbing are the never ending references to Hitler from the Left. While Ahmadinnerjacket in Iran is busy reading Mein Kampf and sending his "researchers" to the Holocaust museums in order to debunk the mass murder of millions of Jews, the Left thinks it's just so cool to call Bush and/or his followers, brown shirts, or fascist thugs.

Iran has said repeatedly that it is going to annihilate Israel. Bin Laden declared war on us and followed through. The Left lays the down the rules, no profiling Muslims, special prayer rooms in public schools, Muslims who shoot people dead like the incident in Seattle are temporarily insane.

And what does this rant lead up to? Keith Olbermann. He has become famous for using the Nazi salute.

Hello  :-)

What I find disturbing are the never ending references to Hitler from the Left.

It's part of their efforts to rewrite history....they don't want people to understand that Nazism was a Socialist movement and therefore part of the Left, not the Right as they keep harping on about.

While Ahmadinnerjacket

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!  VERY funny!!!   :-)

I agree, this is troubling because when they do that it demeans the very real suffering caused by the very real Nazis of WW2.  It's a sad reflection of the desperation that they feel....they have no new ideas, no positive plan for making things better, and so all they have is name-calling.  And so they pick the worst name they can think of - 'Nazi' - and try to pin that on the President.  It's a very low-class, desperate thing to do and I think that the vast majority of Americans see it for the cheap shot that it is.

Iran has said repeatedly that it is going to annihilate Israel. Bin Laden declared war on us and followed through. The Left lays the down the rules, no profiling Muslims, special prayer rooms in public schools, Muslims who shoot people dead like the incident in Seattle are temporarily insane.

It's true there are a lot of very troubling, very real and potentially deadly things going on.  Fortunately we have the internet and talk radio where we can FINALLY hear about these things and so at least we know what's going on, and some things we may be able to plan for and some things we may be able to fight against..  It wasn't very long ago when only the Left had a voice in the media, and we would never have an opportunity to hear an alternate viewpoint.  Now we do, and this at least gives us the tool of information which we didn't have before.  It continues to be a hard fight, but at least we can learn what is happening and perhaps do something about it.

And what does this rant lead up to? Keith Olbermann. He has become famous for using the Nazi salute.

I had no idea that this was happening....thank you so much for telling me.  This is indeed very troubling....do you remember the absolute hissy fit that the Left went into when there was a RUMOR that Arnold Schwarzenegger had done a Nazi salute once as a joke, in private?  Things certainly have gotten bad if it's become acceptable in the media for Olbermann to regularly do a Nazi salute.....it cheapens and diminishes the very real horrors of Nazism.

Any 'real' network would instantly fire him, but I guess we see what stuff his employers are made of if they put up with that kind of garbage.

I never realized this.

It's okay, many people don't.  The Nazi Party in Germany was the National Socialist Party.  They were Socialists in many ways that we understand Socialism today, but they were different in a few ways also....among them was that they HATED the Communists.  It's this one aberration that the modern Left uses to try to pin the Nazis on the Right, because we hate Commies too.  But that was the only similarity...they were Socialists through and through.

Thanks, it makes sense.

I am honored and flattered that the fevered musings of a scruffy stoat might be of some help.  You're quite welcome  :-)

And thanks for the applause.. that was cool.

I'm delighted that you liked it, you're quite welcome   :-)
