The FBI alerted state and local authorities Monday to be on the lookout for 11 Egyptian exchange students who arrived in the U.S. last month but never showed up for class.

Snip: For years, the INS has failed to track the nearly 1 million foreign students in the United States -- a Justice Department inspector general's report last year labeled the program "historically dysfunctional." But the shortcomings became more striking after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, when Congress suddenly saw foreign students as a potential national security risk. Three of the Sept. 11 hijackers were in the INS foreign student database.
But even before the INS flips the switch on its new system, critics are saying that it will not solve the most glaring loophole in the visa program: Once in this country, it is easy for student visa holders to disappear into American society, melding into a population that hides 7 million to 8 million undocumented immigrants.

Anyone applying for a visa who is known to be a muslim should not be allowed entry at this time.
Of course, the big question is who we were exchanging them for.
The Feds need to post the photos ASAP. If they are issuing an alert. They must have photos if visas were given.

I understand your concern Redquill, as I am a parent too, and would be heartbroken if my adult kids got lost in a foreign country.

One reason we admit them is because Colleges are hell bent
on having them. They pay higher tuitions and don't ask for loans etc.

Plus it helps with "diversity" on campus.
Here in KS in-state is couple thousand/semester.
Int'l students can expect to pay 6-9 grand a semester in tuition.
I find it kind of interesting that there are 11 of them. One of the muzzie terrorist's favorite 'magic' numbers.
And we are rapidly approaching september ... the 9th month, of course.
