Actually, beheadings already have a long history in Europe,
ironically and especially France:

Where are Constantine IV, Charles Martel, or Peter the Hermit when Europe really needs them?

The question is...when will a violent counterforce to Islam in Europe rear its head. I don't think a couple decades of multiculturalism overcomes centuries of bloody conflict. The Moslems may think they wrote the book on warfare and brutality but the Europeans are head and shoulders above them - do Stalin, Hitler, Napoleaon, etc. ring any bells. The question is - when will the battle be joined and what will we do about it? I hope we sit it out and let them do the heavy lifting.

It's hard to feel sorry for people who see the train coming and refuse to get off the tracks.
I've never had any patience with people who refuse to face reality.
The most dangerous thing in the world is denial.

You see, Europeans didn't learn the lessons of war, torture chambers, burning stakes, the Inquisition, intolerance, death camps, genocide, etc.; so they're going to return to the Dark Ages and repeat the whole thing.

You are assuming that the average european has something to say about this. Most European countries have become multiparty dictatorships, we are given an illusion of choice. There is also a cost in voicing your opinion, it will hurt your career and you could be harassed by the authorities. Also people are not being told about the dangers ahead. The media will tell lies to keep the idea of multiculturalism going.
Real opposition will only come with the breakdown of the welfare state. Currently large groups of immigrants feed on the host country. When the taxpayers can't pay for this burden any more things will get ugly.
Americans should also be concerned about what's happening to their own country. Mexicans may not be as hostile as muslims, but they will change america. What's going to stop america turning into Mexico.

Once they rule the capital cities, they can intimidate the national legislatures through physical violence such as the riots we saw in Paris.

If ordinary citizens feel that the state is no longer able to guarantee the safety of their loved ones, then perhaps native Europeans will create groups and “clans” of their own, to counter the Muslim clans.I've been saying this for years. If the government can't or won't provide protection, citizens need to do it for themselves by banding together. The two tried and true glues are idealism and clan/family. Even modern gangs work in part by creating an artificial family.

When I said,
"Europeans didn't learn the lessons of...," of course I was using sweeping generalization and biting sarcasm--in the half conscious and cynical hope of jarring someone into meaningful action.
What I was really doing was expressing fury at the forces--and people--who have brought Europe to this crisis.
Not only is it painful to watch, but the people of the world have good reason to fear such dangerous trends in Europe. For example, what happens when Muslim radicals take over the French nuclear arsenal?
As for the Mexican flood into the U.S.--yes, I am very concerned about that. However, it is true that Mexicans, for the most part, are Christian, family oriented, and decent, stable people. So far the American people are lucky in this respect.
It may be that the inability of Western societies to control the reckless impulses of their political leaders and the failure of Western journalism to provide truth and information to the populace could prove to be the greatest failure of contemporary Western civilization and its final fatal flaw, which is further cause for alarm.
Here we are screaming warnings like a Greek chorus to ears deafened by denial and hubris. Those who will not hear us consider us nags, but what else can we do?
