Dear Free Republic Prayer Warriors:
You have responded many times in recent years to my personal requests for prayers for my own family members and friends who were in need of healing.
Today I ask for your prayers for Anna, the beloved wife of my friend, Massachusetts Freeper ThirstyMan.
As some of you may know, Anna has been waging a courageous battle against breast cancer for several years. The cancer has returned and now Anna needs our prayers again.
Please join me in praying for God's Healing Grace and Peace for Anna.
And also for Strength and Peace for Thirstyman and their family.

Unto You, O Lord, we return with praise and thanksgiving, for You are Sovereign. According to Your Word, it is You who hold our very life and breath ... it was by You, the foundations of the world were set ... it is from You that we have the gift of eternal life.
May it be, Merciful Father, that You would grace Anna and Thirsty with divine healing, that they might know the joy of their children's children, even unto the third and fourth generation. Strengthen Anna physically, that her immune system would throw off every diseased cell ... uphold her spiritually, that she and her beloved might sing of Your goodness and mercy in the midst of distress ... cause them to be anxious for nothing, for in You, there is peace.
May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...

Holy Father,
We acknowledge You as our Lord and King and we stand on the truth of Your Word. On the cross of Calvary, Your Word tells us that because of the finished work of Jesus Christ, we have been healed "by His stripes." We confess this blessing for Anna and say that no weapon formed against her shall prosper and that this cancer must leave her body. Give her firm resolve to proclaim the truth and to hold steadfast as she waits for all symptoms to leave. May Your Spirit strengthen her daily and may she rise victorious----more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves her. We pray this in the Name of our Saviour, Amen.
