Go ahead and have some fun although it appears Mr. Lamont is already in trouble on this internet poll.
Halfway down in the center.
If The General Election Were To Be Held Today, For Whom Would You Vote?
34% Lamont (D)
51% Lieberman (I)
15% Schlesinger (R)
HAha! Lieberman is way out front 51% to 34% for DUmont.
Dems - hijacked by their extreme base.
Just for fun. Choose Joltin' Joe or Schlesinger
Who's gonna have "The Talk" with Joe?

I smell troll
I normally don't like to give'em the internet traffic, but I just couldn't resist this one! Tee-hee.
This race ought to occupy the attention of the DUers and the Moveon types. Hopefully, it will draw Dem money from the other races.
So if he wins as an Independant, that would be another lose for the Dems. How long does he have to wait to switch parties back to Dem? Would he?
Mind you, WTIC is a right-leaning talk radio station here.
FReeped! Lieberman now has 53%
Six months in CT officially, six minutes or less to unofficially caucus with the Dems. He will have a LOT of bargaining power.
He won't. He's already said that if he wins as an Independent, he will continue to vote with the Dems, so why bother? He'd just have to face another DUer in the next primary.
I've said it from day one... Lieberman will trounce Lamont in the general if he lost the primary.... All this primary does is show the dems as the anti-american and cowards that they are. Lamonts victory does more to hurt the dems nationally than anything the R's could have done.
If Lieberman wins as an Independent, the speed with which the Dems dump Lamont and re-embrace Joe will exceed that of light.
not necessarily. lets make Joe look real good so that the vote split will be enough to pick up an unexpected Senate seat.
Hopefully Joe will be even more "independent" after he gets elected in November. The Dem leaders dropping him like a bad habit should not sit well with him. This will only get more interesting.
He may spurn the Dems and if so it would serve them right.
"enough to pick up an unexpected Senate seat"
Not, unfortunately. The 'pub has major league gambling problems and has used phony i.d. to gamble in Indin casinos.

Why is the Republican not getting any votes? Is Connecticut this blue? How come we know nothing about the Republican?
See #22
This is fun. But who says he really can't win it?
That would be the Taliban Wing of the democRAT party?
@3:01PM
A Lamont victory will presage large reversals elsewhere.
I see the 'Pubbies only have 15% in the Poll. What are the chances that the Rats will split nicely and give the seat to the Pubs?
ahh some investigative work... get your point.
It is always a good idea to be suspicious of relatively new posters.
Oh this is priceless. No wonder the lefties are going so crazy about Lieberman (I).
The major Drive-by media buzzwords are "selfish", "fair" and "integrity" when discussing this topic.

Some people here are calling me a troll for suggesting we vote for Liebermann on this web site?
Good lord: Liebermann would have aced this electon in Connecticut even without Lamont. We gain nothing if Lieberman loses and if he wins we gain a pissed off ex (?) Democrat getting razzed by moveon.org for "stealing" their election from them!
The more votes Liebermann gets in November the better even if it means they come from the republican. It is one way to CANCEL moveon.org again.
Are you calling me a new poster?
"I see the 'Pubbies only have 15% in the Poll. What are the chances that the Rats will split nicely and give the seat to the Pubs?"
The chances are about zero.
The Republican has ethics problems involving money, false IDs and gambling debts. Is THAT what we need in the power-and-money mosh pit of Washington? A guy we KNOW has a severe gambling problem who is severely secretive about it, to the point of using false names?
He's not going to get traction.
It's Lieberman or Lamont.
That means it has to be Lieberman.
Remember this is the dim party. If Joe wins in November, the dims will just invite him to switch back to the dim party... and things will be back to normal.
Joe is no lamont, but he is a POS lib dim. Once and always!
LLS
You already saw high profile Dems at Lamont's victory party last night. Also Hil said she'd support the Dem winner. That means all these people have got to be tied to the extreme left, which Lamont is. That will kill them in the Fall.

I said *leaning*, not dedicated.
They air Rush and Hannity, ya know.
Lamont as a US Senator is downright scary.
That is reassuring as I know the Republican has no chance.
If this was a referendum on the President, then the Dems. didn't do so well.
They barely beat a pro-war candidate in a blue-state when the only voters were Dummies.
That is not the least bit impressive. But hey! MoveOn was able to win their first election...even if they did beat another Dem...LOL.
The Dhimmi buzz-phrase today was There's blood in the water!... I saw it used widely by doing a GoogleSearch. There's blood alright... THEIR OWN! ;)
bttt
Ive seen this coming for years.
I think the party is going to split.
It also means the CT GOP needs its collective head examined !
"Lamont (D) 23%
Lieberman (I) 53%
Schlesinger (R) 24%"
That was fun, thanks!
