this New York Times photograph of a crowd of Lebanese refugees:
This is probably nothing.
If its photo manipulation, its certainly an incredibly mundane example, and I cant think of a reason why anyone would do it.
Im tossing this to the lizardoid community for comment from the other photoshop geeks out there, without rendering any judgment yet.
In other words, I am not saying this is a definite fake; I know weve got quite a few experts at digital manipulation among our readers, and Im sincerely asking for their opinions.
But look at the image of the man in the lower right corner; the more I examine it, the more it resembles a mans head crudely pasted onto the body of a woman. Note the scarf under his chin, the outlines of something else at the right of his head, and more artifacts at the top and left of his head.
And note the rest of the clothing, which resembles the other womens clothing much more than the mens. The lighting of his face seems off, as well.

The kid in pic #3 is missing a scarf?
Obvious fake. A bit of background wasn't cut off - it obscures part of the blue clothing in the backgound.
Caption: Aw Lawdy! I is amongst terrahrist!
Incidentally, what does this group image purport to represent?
If thats a fake picture to imply all races are being terrorized by the Israelis this story could be hugh...very hugh....
OK where's Waldo?
Where s Waldo?
Also, where's the brother's neck? And why does he face look like it's sticking out about 6 inches from his body?
What's going on here is an attempt to elicit sympathy from African-Americans ~ it's like, well, all these A-rab pictures look like white folks!
No doubt the NYT picture-guy saw one of a black-African IDF soldier.
I think this picture shows such an individual:
Although the Palestinian propagandist (who posted this picture on the net) hoped to lead us to be concerned about the little kid, it's pretty clear the NYT picture-guy saw it entirely differently. Little did the propagandist know that NYT people have hard hearts when it comes to kids (the abortion-thing doncha' know ~ can't get all smurfy about kids either), and are much more concerned with PC stuff, like "proper count of racial types" in their photos.
Sometimes I have to pity these funny little foreign people as they attempt to dealve into the American Liberal psyche. It's not at all the same as the Islamofascist terrorists with whom they normally work ~ it's just wierd!
They needed a "racial diversity individual" (as in token black) to please U.S. libs.
There is writing on the man's shirt. Could that explain why he's photoshopped in? A message to somebody?
Ah, but the whiney little Jihadi peed his pants, so all the libs will have sympathy with him any way.
That is totally insulting.
I'm afraid this is an attempt to paint Israel as an agressor toward Blacks....specifically ...Afro-Americans??!!
I think it says "Vote for Al Gore for President".
To a Moslem, smoke is symbolic of prophecies
Huzafa narrates that Mohammed (pboh) said: "Qiyamah (LAST JUDGEMENT) will not come till you see ten signs, which are: Smoke which spreads throughout the East and West for forty days; Dajjal; Da'aba, a four-legged beast of the length of 60 yards. He will have the stick of Musa [Moses] and ring of Sulaiman [Solomon]. In running he will have no equal. He will strike Mu'min with Musa's stick and will mark the word Mu'min on his face and similarly put the stamp of Kafr [Star of David] on the face of the Kafr; Rising of the sun from the West; Descent of Isa ibn Maryam [Jesus]; Juj and Majuj [Gog and Magog]; Sinking of the earth at three places, East, West, and Arabian Gulf; Fire which will emanate from one side of Aden and drive the people to Hasr.
It probably says 'Al says global warming is real'
Why was Garrett Morris there?
Ok, I checked out the picture at Little Green Footballs, and here's my best guess.
The original picture was a doctor, maybe a US doctor, who didn't want his picture in the paper. The place was a hospital, and it looks as though that could be hospital scrubs over the left shoulder and a brown, collared shirt over the right shoulder, and possibly a hospital type mask pulled down around the neck. I have no idea why the poster didn't put the brown shirt over both shoulders.
Read twice post once.
Sorry, I thought this was the claim that the smoke in the city not being all that big a deal.
Follow the link off of LGF to The Daily Mail, and check out the photo of all women, sitting on the floor ... Hospital5JWN_350x235.jpg
There's a woman wearing a sweatsuit in the exact shade of light teal, with a black and white headscarf.

From actual footage of Sen. John Kerry wind surfing.
I'm not an expert, but being a novice PS dabbler does make me an expert on what looks crappy. That head doesn't go in that picture. The white dot on the top of his head matches the white scarf under his neck. The stuff on the right of his head is just a bad lasso tool application. Besides that, his head is twice as big as the people standing next to him.
Yes, I agree. This looks fake. The stuff on the right of his head (the viewer's right) looks like it was background retained from the photo from which the head was clipped.
Something doesn't look right with that version. The guy in the back, his eyebrows are too close together. I'll study it a bit more. :-)
At least it isn't the Burger King plastic guy.
The photoshop was to cover up a woman who didn't have her head properly covered.
A similar thing was done in the U.S. by CAIR, and nobody really cried foul. Here's the before and after:
Message says "eat mor chikin".
Would you like the roast duck with the mango salsa?
It probably says 'Vote for Cynthia McKinney. She hates jews too.'
