You're the one doing that, not me.
Actually, the truth is I thought I wrote that first post as a private note not to talk about abortion, but to warn the woman who started the thread that she may get some flak about her confession, that's all. I just hit the wrong button.
God Bless you. You are truly sorry for it, I can hear the pain in your words. Put it in God's hands. Ask His forgiveness. He will forgive anything. Don't anguish yourself over it, put it in God's hands.
Praying for you.
So, you don't repent. I'm sorry to hear that. But God bless you anyway. It's between you and Him.

The Bible. Wouldn't you know it, I thread that is very sensitive and someone is trying to comfort and it has to turn to Anti-Christianity. Try it, you might like it.
Not trying to be smart, but I have had things in my life, that if I didn't have Christ to put my burdens on, I don't know where I would be. Please, don't mock our faith in our Lord, just because you don't agree. You might find yourself in the same place someday.
Amen
I remember the '70's very well. There but for the grace of God go I. Most of my girlfriends during that era had abortions -- all have suffered as a result.
I pray that you will know the sweet balm of forgiveness. I do not know your religion, and I do not wish to offend...but for those of us who are Christian, we find solace in knowing that our Savior suffered our sins to free us from them. If He can forgive you, surely you are bound to forgive yourself.
You are not alone. We all have sinned and strive to overcome... "Redemption" is so beautiful and I am sure you have done much good in your life.
Blessings, my dear. May peace and joy be yours.
>>"Christ paid for it all...EVERY BIT OF SIN. Mine, yours, all of it. Accept the gift that He has freely given...accept Christ and all will be forgiven."
Do you have any evidence to support this claim?<<
MH, this is a sensitive, personal thread - there's lots of people here that would be glad to discuss why we believe in God, in a different thread. but I'd like to ask you nicely to not take this particular thread down a confrontational road.
How sorry I am for you. I am very pro-life but I won't judge you. I have done thngs in life I am not too proud about. Thankfully, I have Christ.
I am the adopted son (23) of a long time Freeper. while i do not desire to meet my birth parents, if i did, i would thank them for not aborting me and allowing me to be adopted by a loving family.
May God give you Peace.
The peace of Christ be upon you. God bless you.
The Book of Isaiah, The Book of Matthew, The Book of Mark, The Book of Luke, and the Book of John.
Sorry
Maybe this happened this way and maybe it didn't. Casting the villain as a "Conservative" member of the "John Birch Society" sounds suspiciously like sexing this story up for a feminazi reading audience. There are a lot of ways to pass the buck on abortion.
>>Sorry<<
Not a problem, I just wanted to make sure she saw your post so I replied and pinged her too.
Well said!
Oh B.S.
Read her first post. She was jumped for giving the writer a "warning". Instead of you all going after the writer...you've gone after Hildy.
Forgive my asking, but isn't a medical abortion generally considered a cause, not a cure, for anemia?
