<< .... Ignorance, arrogance, and funk .... it decided to appease it .... Britain has always done appeasement .... >>

Moral Clarity Alert!

The British population have never been more acutely accurately represented than it was by appeasement's poster child: Neville Chamberlain.

.... they are paralysed by the terror of being thought racist, Islamophobic, or xenophobic if they criticise a (conquering, colonizing, murderous ideology dressed as a) "religion" .... >>

Thank you for posting this. I have keenly appreciated all and each of Melanie Phillips' columns, for years. She's knowledgeable and is succinct.

Phillips: Well, my own personal litmus test is their attitude to Israel and the Jews. If they get that one right — that is, if they understand that fundamentally Israel is the victim in the Middle East , that the Jews are a benign and unaggressive people and that the Muslim world has been brainwashed into a demented and paranoid hatred of the Jews — then such people generally also get most other things the right way round too.

Bingo.

Good post, and while I don't disagree with your point about the halting of immigration, there is a nuanced point which often gets lost in the arguments concerning legal and illegal immigration, and that is the "why" of such mass numbers. Speaking generally, in the US migration has predominantly been FROM blue states and into RED states. People assert to the obvious -- that the migration is due to liberal and punitive policies.

But seldom is it discussed, and some for what I think are obvious reasons -- as to why immigration FROM certain countries and into, say, the US. The first general point of assignment is "economics". That the economy is so poor in those countries. This is true. But I think this is more a RESULT of "bad policies" and behaviors going on in those countries from which immigrants are migrating FROM. In the mid-90s in CA, I took a much closer look at all the different parts factoring into a mass migration into CA from Mexico. It wasn't "just" economics. People were looking for a safer "place" to live and raise their families. The drug cartels and linked organizations have been running roughshod over the poeple, and yes, the government of Mexico for many, many years. And of course, the damned CA Democrats overturning Prop 187 encouraged less than honorable people in Mexico to hide among the "other" (legal or illegal) immigrants entering the US.

No bones about it -- this war has been planned and strategized for a long time. The "canary in the coal mines" with regard to immigration, legal and illegal has been apparent for quite some time.

Miss Phillips is right about halting the "multiculti" drivel which runs amok amid the froth of the cluelessinoids and those getting money backdoor for peddling such effluvia.

And just exactly how does the White House (or We The People) go about doing this? For better or worse people in America have the right to be stupid...of course some really push the edge of the envelope.
