"Bojinka" means "explosion" in Serbo-Croat.
I never knew that.
I also didn't know that they invented the liquid explosives and actually did that test back in 1995.

Ultimately, there's no safety in security measures. The only safety will come from killing enough jihadists that they are either all dead or the remaining ones surrender. Collateral damamge is a sad thing, but it's better than losing our freedoms and accepting more inconveniences. We should destroy Islam if necessary to protect ourselves.

Yousef is now serving a life sentence plus 240 years, in isolation, in the Supermax prison in Colorado. But the techniques he used may have been passed on to a newer generation of terrorists. Yes, by articles like this one. Sheesh!

"But one of the hallmarks of Osama bin Laden's followers is that if they don't succeed once, they will try again. In 1993, militants led by Ramzi Yousef, who was the mastermind of Operation Bojinka, aimed to topple the towers of the World Trade Center by detonating a huge bomb underneath the complex, an explosion that killed six people and injured more than 1,000. In September 2001, al Qaeda returned for another attempt with far more devastating consequences.
