You can not like it, but you can't argue with it!
This is what liberals call "hate" speech. They can't argue with it so ultimately they will ban it.
I'll beat the idiots from the lefty blogsphere to the punch. Define an American foundational principle.
Hard to not hate that!
Uh, yes.
(what do I win?)
Better, merely define a principle. Then compare and contrast 'principle' and 'precept. In this day of post-modern relativism only old conservative curmudgeons will be able.
Yes.
I like when the liberals spout the "its patriotic to dissent" lie even though theyve never once as a collective hippie horde, pulled their own weight in our society.
Oh, you mean Democrats?
According to George Washington, The name American must always exalt the pride of patriotism. (One who loves, supports, and defends one's country.)
According to Merriam-Webster, foundational means, a basis (as a tenet, principle, or axiom) upon which something stands or is supported, the act of founding.
And according to Dictionary.com, principles are; A basic truth, law, or assumption: the principles of democracy. A rule or standard, especially of good behavior: a man of principle. The collectivity of moral or ethical standards or judgments: a decision based on principle rather than expediency
Sounds about right to me.
But it does not sound like any modern liberal or democrat I have ever known.
They're actually right, even though the only thing they do contribute is dissent. However, it is possible to carry dissent too far and enter a weird paradox where dissent becomes an attack on the principles that allow dissent.
Got that right!
You noticed too?
just a few that leftists do not like.
Profound!
Sarcasm or a compliment? Difficult to tell these days...
Best I can tell, you can start the list with LIFE - LIBERTY - and HAPPINESS!
bookmark for later
That is a tautology, I believe.
People who attack American principles ARE, by definition, Anti-American.
Affirmation!
