- I challenge this blind assumption, which is rapidly becoming a received truth by the MSM.
Although it is impossible to get a complete and accurate picture on the "civil war" situation in Iraq, from reports that the MSM do deign to provide us, the worst atrocities of the so called war seem to consist of intercine conflicts between the two main Muslim religious factions being conducted in certain Baghdad neighborhoods where the two factions reside together in number, sprinkled in with the odd massacre by Islamofascist suicide bombers in markets and at roadsides.
Outside Baghdad, the situation seems to be fairly calm although, as I say, this could only be my impression since the MSM rarely venture outside the Green Zone from which they write their reports perched on stools in the hotel bar.
Although, due to these factors, the daily civilian death toll can run from zero to 100 or so, the Spanish Civil War it ain't.

Here are some easy predictions to make:

As soon as Iran gets a deliverable nuclear bomb it will drop it on Tel Aviv.

Israel will retaliate and wipe out much of Iran.

The "world community" will blame President Bush and Israel for starting nuclear war.

The world's oil flow will be disrupted and there will be a world--wide economic depression.

Democrats will win back Congress and the White House.

Chelsea Clinton will be made Secretary of State by her Mom.
