Again, I know this girl personally.... we are no longer friends but I assure you her family is a little off... but you have to remember that they are just as impacted by this as she is. I had to have my phone number changed because of her crazy ass sister and other drama. But, seriously, talking about how ugly she is has nothing to do with what happened that day. This is FAR from an ultra-liberal town I assure you!

And I dare say Athens is a far from a liberal town. Hello? Heidi Davison? Gwen Looney? Women in Black? Ed Tant? The place is full of hippy-wanna-be's in all their trust-fund-guilt glory.

We like to play this game when we are downtown or in the mall called "spot the liberal professor". After awhile, we stop because its no fun any more, too easy.

So, while you may get more conservative thinkers outside of Athens, inside Athens is definitely liberal.
