Hi All- I've never understood people allegedly "into" firearms who vote Democratic in a presidential election. Makes no sense.

"he likes to "crawl around on my stomach," stalking deer with his double-barrel 12-gauge shotgun. Wisconsin hunters, who shoot deer with rifles from a blind or tree stand, found Kerry's a curious and unlikely technique. "Although I wouldn't talk about deer hunting with a shotgun in Wisconsin, I did sell a lot of 12 ga. 00buck and slugs for deer and bear in Louisiana. And I don't think La. hunters crawl around on their bellies too much.

I've never understood people allegedly "into" firearms who vote Democratic in a presidential election. Makes no sense. I have met a few at the range.
They are sincere people who were brought up in Union households, but have never realized that the Democratic Party that they remember was, quietly at first, taken over by Socialists years ago, and they vote by reflex.
Basically apolitical, their votes are cultural traditions.

Also notice, he's got his finger on the trigger, his supporting hand is firmly wrapped around the barrel of his shotgun (or whosever it is) way past the fore-end (with his thumb completely obscuring the rib), the gun is nowhere near his shoulder, his head is as far up off of the stock as you can get, and according to his posture, he looks like he's either about to sit down, or he's dumping in his pants.
This is a textbook photo of how NOT to shoot a shotgun.
This man has obviously NEVER fired a shotgun in his life!!!
No wonder the dog is running away!
Nice gun though.

Again, the Democrats try to decieve the public and try to change and obsfucate the whole gun issue.
The gun issue has little to do with hunting. Theoretically, its possible to have legal hunting by requiring hunters to store their 12 guage shotguns for shooting deer at the park ranger's office.
But legalized hunting isn't the purpose of the 2nd amendment.
The democrats just don't get it. Per usual

And only four million gun owners belong to the NRA out of eighty million.
Without the NRA, we wouldn't have 37 states that have Shall Issue CCW laws and two Unrestricted. We wouldn't have Castle Doctrine laws passed. The gun manufacturers would have been sued out of business by now. Handgun bans would have been enacted city by city, state by state. Gore and Kerry would have been president.
Unbelievable, only five percent of the gun owners defend their Rights.

For every gun owner, this is an extremely important election. A Democratic house and senate would bring back the '94 gun ban, something Bush said he would sign if it ever came to his desk. After that and other radical bills, impeachment proceedings would begin. If that would be the case, I would say impeach him too.

This year, the anti-gun groups are trying a new tact. They have established a new outdoor group, the American Hunters and Shooters Association. Their carefully crafted press release reads: "in recent years, extreme political positions purporting to support gun rights have jeopardized our sport and have hurt the image of responsible gun owners. Unless the sporting community can become unified behind an organization that fights for safe and responsible gun ownership, future generations may be unable to participate in and enjoy the shooting sports." Man that jummped out at me.
To: stevio
I think that was one of those campaign statements that made gun owners realize they also had to control the senate and congress.
If we throw away our advantage in the house and senate, we deserve to have gun control again. I can't imagine gun owners being that stupid.
