Now let's see, you posted with great authority and frequency your view that our war in Iraq is perfectly contrived to win the war against terrorism because we are drawing terrorists from all over the world to Iraq where we are cheerfully killing them. We have been merrily killing all the terrorists in the world in Iraq for three years now. This you say, is a good thing, a terrific strategy. I have countered that this strategy amounts to no more than shoveling flies.

Now let's see, when the Israelis start killing terrorists in Lebanon but quit doing it after only 1/ 30th of the time we Americans have devoted to killing terrorists in Iraq, you declaim that this is a brilliant strategy and, ever willing to enlighten those not as well acquainted with grand strategy as you are, you instruct us as follows:

Counter Insurgency is not Total War. Learn the difference. Israel is not fighting a Conventional Military campaign against a Conventional threat. The parameters of the two issues are complete different. (capital letters provided by the author, not by me).

I confess I do not know whether I am more awe-struck by your sangfroid or more dumbfounded by your mastery of the non sequitur.
