Because 'gay and/or promiscuous' don't show up on a blood test.

In the early eighties, we met an insurance executive from Providence. He said the insurance industry was scared to death of the effect of AIDS on premiums and risk. There was no actuarial data to base premiums on. I assume that has changed.
