Here is a quote from the blog:
"If a non christian student steals or destroys the portrait of the person that the Bridgeport WV High School alleges to be Jesus. How will the school board punish the kids religious dissent without violating the kids civil rights?"

Interesting coincidence? That this blog just happens to suggest the possibility of stealing the painting well before it is stolen is at least interesting.

Forgetting your point: what the hell kind of crackpot "logic" is that? Theft and/or destruction of property is just that...how the hell does this nut figure freedom of expression plays into it?

How will the school board punish the kids religious dissent without violating the kids civil rights? I suppose by this logic we could not respond to an Islamic jihadist sawing off the head of infidel without violating his civil rights.
Earth to moron bloggers: stealing is not a religious right anymore then murder.

Just an FYI, if you look at all the pictures of the man, you can see he is wearing an Islamic skullcap, explaining why he is doing what he is doing, he's a koranimal of course.

There is no logic involved. The left is about one thing, themselves.

I don't. He may have been a student, muslim one at that, and had to see that picture every day. The sight of it made him angry enough to go back and steal it. He of course wants the picture of a pedophile, murderous founder of the most evil and widespread cult in the world to be posted there.

I think I'd worry more about being punished by the state for "breaking and entering" and "theft of public property".

notice how the pictures that would show identifiable fdetail were blurred 'mysteriously"
Why are all the pictures of criminals the police show on tv ALWAYS blurred also? At later dates, after a capture, they will show the clear prints from the cameras.

Must've been a student of that beastly wench from Northern Kentucky University who thought stomping crosses was proper dissent.

"alleges to be Jesus" Is the painting really that bad?
theft is not a civil right.
To: Maelstorm
With that ape-like build and forensic enhancement of the big tattoo on the guy's right arm, he'll be caught soon.
By the way, the framed piece of art in slide # 9 titled "Raw Bricks" will be hung in New York's Museum of Modern Art following exhibition for two weeks in the school's corridor.

Yeah they will catch him. He is lucky he did this in Bridgeport. There are places in WV where doing this kind of thing is taken a bit more seriously. lol

my point exactly. :)
Did you look at the slide show? Smart thinking to pull that shirt up over his face. Now, if he'd only remembered his gloves. :P

You hit the nail right on the head, ECM. If somebody breaks into my house I don't care if they are here to steal my art, my money or my garbage and I don't intend to try to find out before I shoot them.
