The horror that was 9/11 will be forever etched into our collective minds.
I want to, again, share the simple memorial site I made, currently hosted by several friends... The Black Day
Yeah I get hatemail.
"Perhaps you could add navigation and home buttons so that one could backstep"
My intention was a simple site, free of buttons/ads/etc.
Going on five years now.. ad-free, as simple as can be. Click the pic, click the pic, etc.
you know it makes me sick so freaking sick
I've never been comfortable with it. Won't ever be.
We Will Never Forget! Thanks for making your site.
The one picture of the ABC news succession of clips (the 9 or more blue squares) of the second plane hitting the second tower showed me exactly what my husband saw with his own eyes on that day. He was working in a building, 20 floors up, in Jersey City on the waterfront (he's a tilesetter).
My husband described to me what he saw, the plane disappearing into the building, and those clips now show me what he saw. He could not get it out of his head for a long time, he cried when he told me about it when he came home that day at noon. I will show him your site. I am sure those clips will be upsetting to him but he will want to see them nonetheless. He is also a volunteer firefighter in our town.
Thank you again for making the site.
NEVER FORGET!
Incidentally, how many photos are there?
Haven't clicked on the pictures yet, just scrolled down the comments and saw # 15, and burst into tears.
Ends at 46.
The page had a few more pics, but some were removed per request.
You should click the link.
Those kinds of folks wallow in their own hatred and just look for opportunities to lash out for any reason.
Thank you for your post and site.
bttt
Use you browser's backstep button...that works fine!
Thanks for posting this!! I am so glad I had a tissue box near by too.
I'll never forget that day. This past week they've been showing documentaries and stuff on the history channel. The images are all sanitized.
The single screaming radio broadcaster I heard in my office that day...of a second plane...and walking into the training room turning on the TV and soon the whole office gathered round that TV set...no one cried, but no one blinked and a single voice cut the silence...
We are at war.
thank you for taking the time to do this. may I ask where you got the images? I'd like to produce my own memorial
HATE MAIL? I can't express what I'm feeling here, for fear of banishment. Don't let the b@st@rds wear you down.
thanks
Gut wrenching!
When I think of the Michigan judge that ruled to shut down surveillance programs that could potentially prevent or limit this from happening again... and again I am angry. We are ALL in danger. Black, white, rich, poor, Republican, Democrat. The enemy that pulled the trigger on the events of 911 hates freedom and will dig as deeply as they are allowed into their bag of evil tricks. We must continue to fight the fight!
Thanks for sharing!
