The Indonesian government has voiced strong objections to taking part in disarming Hezbollah as part of its mandate in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, The Jakarta Post reported Saturday.
Defense Minister Juwono Sudarsono said on Friday that the Indonesian government did not want its troops involved in the disarmament of either the militia group or Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, said the report.

Why should one devil disarm another one when both have the same goals, enslavenent of humanity?
That pretty much says it all.
Like deploying Chinese troops in N Korea to keep S. Korea from "invading" the north.
if the shoe was on the other foot, and the Indo's needed the USA to help disarm some terrorist group
how would that response look on us
I would treat this like jury selection. Israel should have every right to reject the manning of a nation's troops whose views on this issue are overwhelmingly one-sided. Indonesia does not even recognize the state of Israel politically. Why should they be put on Israel's border.
UNIFIL has been on the Lebanese border since 1978 and done nothing to prevent conflict nor the build-up of intricate Hezbollah defenses and underground networks. This new manning without adherence to Res 1559 is a joke and there will be further build-ups of Hezbollah forces in Southern Lebanon.
Some countries shouldn't be invited to participate in men's work. These countries have armies to suppress unarmed populations not fight people with guns.
Here is my proposal, the UN should hire, Gurkhas for all peace keeping operations and stand back
This band of raggedy terrorists has the worlds governments frightened to death to disarm them. While at the same time the UN is trying to disarm America's citizens.
So, the next time an Indonesian billionaire tries to give a few million dollars to the Democrats, they should refuse it. So there!
