Your democracy project is a facade, Mr. Bush. I guarentee they'll line up and cheer the next dictator or mullah that comes in, just like Muslim Arabs in 22 nations do every day. They bitch about corruption, have a revolution and put in place the exact same thing, just a different "elite" tribe.

But America's security depends on liberty's advance in this troubled region, and we can be confident of the outcome because we know the unstoppable power of freedom, he said.Sometimes Liberty's advance needs to be preceded by the unleashed advance our our military.

And your solution would be????
We are taking the fight to the terrorists instead of waiting our heels for them to attack us. Meanwhile, we are trying to inject some stability into a very volatile region and it's not going to be easy OR quick.

Bush has helped to bring Islamic terror to the USA. Now it will be hard to undo it.

I'd really would've liked to know what his solution to the problem would be.
Chances are he was one of those "nuke-em-all" fanatics.....

Islamic terror has been in the USA for decades....it
was expanded during the Clinton years as he had other
hings to do, and ignored the threat...so Bush faces it
and is killing them in large numbers..as they have done
on 9/11..and continue to plot more...yes, they are here
and it is up to you and everyone else to be alert to
the dirty, rotten, bast$$$s.....jake

Why are you smiling? He didn*t say anything to be banned over. What he said was the truth!!First, I smile alot, especially at my favorite FRiends. Secondly, we don't know WHY that poster was banned. It may have been for comments made on thread other than this one, for all we know. Thirdly, that person's comment regarding President Bush was pretty stupid, IMHO.
I'll give you a smile too if that'll make ya feel better. ;) :)

Bush has helped to bring Islamic terror to the USA. Now it will be hard to undo it.You obviously do not know much about the history of Islamic terror. Sometimes it's best to study these things before opening mouth and inserting foot. You are wrong as wrong can be.

It might have been interesting, Mike. As for those "nuke-em-all" fanatics....IMHO, they are nuttier than fruitcakes. Personally, I'm getting sick 'n tired of those sort of comments.

Yeah.
And they really only exist on the internet.
No one in the military structure up to the President wants to launch those things unless we have too.

Aside from the human cost the middle east probaly won't be habitable for a long time, chances of us getting oil in area that has been nuked is slim... That would cause a huge crisis in our economy. Besides I don't think oil and radiation mixes to well...

Come on now...
Don't bring logic into this situation. Emotion and anger should rule it all.....

I think some of them may not really mean what they say and are using the internet to let off some steam. But there's others that sound as serious as a heart attack.
And I also agree with you. Neither the President nor those in the military chain-of-command, nor anyone with an ounce of sense, would want to launch a nuke unless it was the last resort.
