When did PCR start writing for The Onion?
This is all too typical tinfoil hat club nonsense, where "science" and supposed opinions by un-named third parties are spread around to make the illogical sound reasonable. Of course guys like PCR never consider the contradictions in their own argument -- like how come if there really wasn't much of a fire all the contents of the building were reduced to ashes? And just where did the pillar of smoke come from? Or how would a "controlled demolition" be controlled after an airplane sliced through the middle of the building - did they have kryptonite wires that wouldn't get damaged by a 747 running into them at 300+ mph?
The "facts" these conspiracy theorists spout are just fiction, and the only thing that is dismaying is that so many Americans want to put their heads in the sand and pretend a very real war against real enemies isn't happening. They'd rather believe that some wacky conspiracy happened, one that they can conveniently ignore. That way they are safe as long as their wear their tinfoil hats.

We don't even have to take the government's word for that. We have the eyewitness accounts of men and women on those planes who got on their cell phones and called loved ones, or who called Govt. agencies to let them know what was happening. It was the airlines, NOT the government, who halted air traffic that day, and prevented who knows how many more attacks. It was also the airlines who determined exactly WHO carried out those attacks, again, based on eyewitness reports about where those folks had been sitting.
I thought that Tower #7 was the one on which the cockpit, and other debris from the second plane landed. Remember, that one came in at a much lower level than the first, so the rooftops of the adjacent buildings were closer.

The basic problem for the the conspiracy clowns is that the buildings didn't fall at free-fall speed. Just look at the first photo, the debris from the building is falling faster than the building itself -- that's why you see parts of the building from above overlapping the lower floors.

i was looking for some--any--indication of this being satiric, but then realized that this guy was serious.
i suppose that as the fifth anniversary of 9/11 approaches we're going to be swamped with all kinds of viewpoints (have you seen the networks lineup?), but it would seem that some respect could be shown to the 3,000 or so who died (and are now dying from complications of breathing the burning crap) and not victimize them further by making them pawns in some kind of political warfare.
what i would like to see on the anniversary of 9/11--and what we will never see--is a documentary on the "jumpers," who walked in faith into god's hands rather than face the horror of what the islamofascists had perpetrated. No 72 virgins, no elysian fields, just faith and fear combined into a prayerful act.

As I watched the towers fall (with my own eyes and
sensibilities), I was AMAZED that they did not fall
OVER, taking out many other building with them. Then
I realized that God ... yes, God held those buildings
IN PLACE as they fell. What I saw on 9/11 was no less
than a miracle. That, my friends, is why our Government
and science cannot explain the way the buildings fell.
