Looking out of the Long Gallery at Worstall Towers, surveying the rolling acres, I can see that the nights have started to draw in. It is also an even numbered year, so that must mean there is an election in the offing. Time to gird the loins and hoot derision at our enemies.

Not surprisingly, not a single one of them sent in a single dime.
Although I *did* talk someone in HR into sending out an e-mail to everyone that the United Way would accept money over and above their payroll deductions, with the added bonus that it's tax-deductible.
No one ever indicated to her that they took her up on the offer, either.
