HAH! The lexicon file needed updating anyway. I'd start with the existing lexicon file, and update with anything you find on this thread that doesn't exist.

LOL I was just teasing...the Lexicon threads are actually harder to find than they should be.
But, the best way to learn FReeperisms is by experiencing them first hand, and by FReeping enough to glean the meaning and/or come across links to original threads. That does of course require many many many hours of devoted FReeping ;^)
my husband: "whatcha doing hon?"
me: "um, just reading an article"
my husband: "you're freeping, aren't you?"
me: (dang!)

Does anyone have a link to the "anatomy of a Zot" thread recently posted by Admin Moderator? That should be included in any Lexicon update.

You mean people have been nominating sinkspur as "Most obnoxious FReeper poster" since 2000? I'm not alone! Thanks for the links.

I've always wanted to know, where did the "All your base belong to us", get started?
And what does it mean?
To: MrEdd
LOL...... Kinda interesting to go back in time and read some of the old post/threads. I wish the online archives of the 'White Water' threads were still available. They would be very interest to peruse.

THUD Its popular among the fairer FReepers, especially those who frequent live threads.
I believe it represents the sound made by Freepettes when they hit the floor after swooning over various males of the species.
A typical context would involve, say, Major Garrett it tight jeans and a baseball cap.

I've actually started working on it by taking the code from the old Lexicon. I guess I should try to redeem myself, somehow...please pray for me.

Quite thankful.
