I watched that yahoo up until he began talking about Sindy Shoehorn. I turned it off at that point in his rant....

Isn't it amazing that an educated man, Dr. Marble, could be so ill informed or perhaps he just likes spewing disinformation for the corrupt politicians in LA. I don’t see a whole lot of people returning or that those there are helping themselves and their neighbors to clean up the place – just a lot of whining and waiting for the government to wipe their noses……what’s that story about some $70 million being lost in LA or no accounting for that money? Insurance companies and zoning rules are holding up a lot of the clean up. Many are working hard to rebuild but I seriously doubt the MSM will publish those stories..................Nagin's hands are far from clean.....

The heckler is Dr. Ben Marble, who famously approached Dick Cheney as he was speaking to a group of reporters in a Katrina-ravaged Mississippi neighborhood and told him to engage in an act of congress with himself.

This is mainstream TV.

But if I didn't read about it here, I wouldn't know. I stopped watching those channels a long time ago.

I never cared much for folks who use the 'Dr' designation in everyday life. In a professional environment, it doesn't bother me so much, though it can in some cases.

I had a teacher in high school was was a 'Dr' and called himself 'Dr' at school. PhD in English Literature, I think. I liked the guy a lot but always found the 'Dr' designation he used obnoxious. Later, I found it funny.

If it's in medicine or health related, it's fine in my book. Otherwise, it just turns me off.

How dare that creep Mathews give this jerk a forum to air his vile garbage! I honestly think Chris Mathews is desperate to get ratings of any kind, and doesn't give a hoot how he does it. This was beyond low.

I don't know, but at least it appears he is a scientist. Still, it's a turnoff when any doctor introduces himself or herself as 'Doctor (so-and-so)' when I just encounter them in life. In a hospital corridor or doctor's office, fine.

When a guy picking up his dry cleaning and is referred to as 'Dr,' I think he has some issues. Just a personal peeve.

It's personal to me because I am a 'Dr,' but it never occured to me to insist to be referred as one in normal, everyday life.

First of all, the "good" Doctor appeared to be high as a kite on some impairing substance. Secondly, why didn't Chrissie ask Dr. Marble to disclose his political party affiliation? No wonder i never watch that idiot.

CHENEY: How do I pronounce my last night and how do I want you to pronounce it? Well, the family's always said Cheney with an "e'' and that was especially true West growing up. I find, when I came East, that the tendency was to say Cheney with an "a''. I'll respond to either. It really doesn't matter.
