Fortunately, once they start paying taxes and living outside of academia, most of them will wise up.
No, you didn't. You added the passed into law qualifier after I posted the list.
You said: But can you name, quickly now, one piece of legislation that Allen has sponsored to serve our state?
So you're a public school teacher and your first "source" is a liberal blog?
Interesting.
Ding ding ding!! We have a winner. :-D
A teacher that has a real issue with accountability legislation.
Influencing at my (as well as my colleagues) peril--last year, 13 episodes of weapons in school, 47 fights broken up, 137 pregnancies, and too many instances involving the heathen devil weed that I care to count. And you can thank both your Republican and Democratic representatives (as well as your local NOW ELECTED school boards) and County supervisors for it!
I'd rather blame the teachers.
That's not surprising; most protective non-child-judgmental parents do. Consequently, their kids grow up with total disrespect of proper behavior and rule of law. I'm certain that, being from the libertine state of California in the 1960s, legendary Coach George Allen probably blamed young George Jr.'s teachers, too, when they sent home bad reports about his budding juvenile-delinquent offspring's penchant for destroying school property and expectorating tobacco juice on school grounds.
Sheesh meandog...your posts are right out of the DU playbook.
...and the next time you want to blame them, try breaking up a fight between rival 17-year-old gang members; all the while remembering that if you try to physically defend your 50-something-year-old body in any form, shape, or fashion that you'll be fired when the kid's parents complain to the school board!
The slow-witted man who would be president strikes! Macaca!
I love the people who try to insult Dubya's or George Allen's intelligence. Only in your dreams could possess the intellect of either of them.
Then dream I shall!
James Webb - another Reagan turncoat.
What's up with that picture?
