Police officers in Maywood, Calif., Saturday eventually came to the pole to remove the flag but had bottles and rocks thrown at them, a radio listener named Sandra reported to the Terry Anderson show, heard on KRLA in Los Angeles.

A video can be viewed here, and photographs can be seen here on the website

Soon, we'll just be outnumbered, and there'll be no recourse. I've seen whole cities turned into Tiajuana before my eyes here in So. Cal. in the span of just a few short years-- Santa Ana, Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove etc. It reminds me of the Borg from Star Trek. Just very sad. If I wanted to live in Mexico, I'd move to Mexico.

And the great irony of it all is that those who don't want to live in Mexico are determined to come to the USA and make it exactly like what they just left!

>>The radio listener, volunteering for Save our State, said that when she arrived at the rally she was rushed by counter-protesters who called out, "Death to the Minutemen."

"They pushed me around and told me if I was to take one step further, they would beat the s*** out of me," Sandra said. "I looked to the back of me and there were about four police officers leaning on their vehicle just watching, doing nothing!" <<

Someone notify President Bush.

I'm sure he will want to do everything he can to stop this invasion on our sovereign soil, and dangerous threat to our citizens.

There are quite a few blogs out there about this event. Some, a few of the policemen working the event posted on.
If you read the blogs......it is so sad what has happened in California. The illegals and their supporters have become more emboldened and violent because of the do nothing politicians, from local on up.
What a shame.

Pretty soon the mexicans here will be paying mordida to get their water turned on....just like home. Maybe then, they will feel better.

Must be Democrats. Keep swarming out of the workers' paradises they've created to states where common sense has prevailed (I refuse to say "red" states, as I hold that the colors are reversed), and insist on voting like they did before.

The ancestors of Mexicans were both European and Indian. And most of the poorer Mexicans have more Indian blood.

Sure, most citizens say they are against illegal immigration but really are just sitting on the sidelines hoping the problem will go away. I think as a nation we are losing our backbone and its no wonder people like Iran's Ahmadinejad see the US as weak and unsure of itself. We are probably only 15 years from the point of no return in regards of saving the America of the past two centuries.

I guess it's time for the citizens of this country to take take up arms against these invaders; despite and in response to the lack of action by the politicians.

In this modern day we are restricted from defending our homes and even our own country. We have become so passive and so kind-hearted that we can't stomach doing the hard things. Our politicians ARE NOT taking action on this issue and our country is in danger. It's time for us to do it ourselves. Take up arms fellow citizens! Take up arms and save your country!

Sorry. Seeing a Mexican flag over a U.S. Post Office just infuriates me. Still, something has to be done and I have little compassion for these enemies of our way of life.

Don't get me started about Garden Grove! Vietnamese flags everywhere, lions and pagodas line Lampson Street. You should see it. And if you roll down your windows, you can smell the kim che!! I am serious!

My point is, that we used to have Olvera street in LA to go spend the day looking at Mexican culture, and it was neat, and we had little Tokyo and such. And then you would drive a few minutes to go home... but now, it's little Vietnam, little (Big) mexico, little this, little that. It's happened quick too! I went to Universal Studios last weekend, and was the only english speaker. I am not exaggerating. Not one bit.

Not only that, but the Mexican flag colors are the same as Italy's.

But that doesn't matter to the reactionaries on FR, when they get upset at a small band of Mexican leftists, who are the same as American leftists, a leftist, is a leftist, isa leftist.

Also notice this(raising of the Mexican flag) is only happening in California, and not in Texas.

California is the home of lefty fruits and nuts of all ethnicities, hell look at Hollyweird.

But that doesn't matter to some on FR, for it gives them an excuse to bash all Mexicans and hispanics. Just like al gore doesn't speak for me, these lefty nutballs don't speak for all hispanics, the left knows that, but knows how to push the buttons of the reactionaries.

Everything you say is true.
I saw it too. Wish I'd taken more photos to show folks when So. California
is fully recognized as a nothern suburb of Mexico City.
I lived 1995-2005 in the apartment area between just north of Wilshire Blvd.
and west of the 405 in West Los Angeles. And also to some bus/train trips
around the LA basin and down to San Diego, north to Oxnard.
Only the blind or collaborators would deny that we've been invaded.

I don't blame the illegals for trying to escape their hell-hole
home countries.
I do blame voters, employers, politicians and government agencies
that have aided this mess. By active and/or passive means.

It is time to call for a national day of Mexican flag burning.

Our elected leaders have let us down. They have allowed 10's of millions of illegals into our country and let them stay, given them money, and made us pay.

If millions of Americans gathered and burned the Mexican flag, it just might get someone's attention. October 1st is near the next election cycle and they had better respond.

October 1st is national BURN A MEXICAN FLAG DAY.

Don't laugh. I heard recently that the laws in Baja are changing so that now Americans can buy big lots of property, beachfront at $35,000/ quarter acre on the beach. American banks are making the loans. My friends and I want to go down there and completely take over. Of course, all they would have to do is sprinkle some pot seeds in your garage and the policia would give your house to a drug lord. They're so corrupt you could never feel safe. But it's a fun idea though...

I have always been a very good natured person, open minded, to a degree and respectful and polite to others. I now find myself being worse than Archie Bunker. I live just outside of Atlanta, a small little town filled with little churches, nice homes etc., in the past 5 or 6 years I now feel like I live in another country. It's not just the mexicans either, its all of them. I don't remember it being like that growing up. It seems every Muslim in Georgia has moved by me, Burkas and all which, totally freak me out. I don't know if its cultural or lack of understanding the language but, alot of these ethnic groups are just plain rude. Like they're doing me a favor by being here. I'm not saying all, but I believe many, could give a rats behind about any of us. We've set it up for immigrants to come here and take whatever it is they want and then expect me to embrace them slaughtering goats on the patio, because thats their culture. Well we have a culture too, and they don't seem to care. Everytime I go out to do errands I feel like I'm shopping in an International Marketplace. I'm freaking sick to death of diversity. You want to come here legally fine, but in return they should have to respect us and our culture. If it doesn't sit well with you then stay home.

I heard the other day that 150,000 illegals stream across into the US every month. We currently have that many soldiers in Iraq! That means that every month, an ARMY of people are streaming across to take over. And our government does NOTHING to stop them. They encourage it.

I am enraged more day to day.
