We can't say it enough times, my friend.
Yes, he's biding his time to do a Jeffords. He want's to wait until changing parties will change the majority in the senate.
The key issue in that race was immigration, which Cannon was extremely weak on. You must not remember the "Satan against my campaign" remark by his opponent Jacob.
You lumped Cannon in with Chafee and Specter as a liberal. He is not liberal. Not only did Bush endorse Cannon, but Sensenbrenner endorsed Cannon as well.
He also couldn't help that his opponent in the primary was a nutburger.
The point is that he was the perceived liberal in the race. Tancredo's Team America supported Jacob. It was also a fairly close race.
That just demonstrates what sort of a nutburger Jacob is.
This is nothing more than self-fulfulling prophecy dreck.
Primaries are for cleansing and electing the best possible candidate who represents the party's beliefs. National Republicans simply need to stay out of primaries and let the fists fly. Like a forest fire is healthy for old timber, so are primaries.
Perceived by you, and Looney Tunes like Tom Tancredo and Bay and Pat Buchanan.
The Coulter Rule is getting wearying. She's 44 and built like a mantis, guys.
Yeah, I like her mind too.
I like Congressman Billybob's mind even more, but I don't holler for his pictures.
(And he's better looking too.)
Blimey! I beheaded the wrong Ann.
Obligatory photo.
What's mine is mine, what's yours is up for grabs.
Ann, don't go the route of Alan Keyes. Yeh, he's smart, but he shouts at people. He shouted at his radio audience and lost that, he shouted at the voters of Illinois and lost to Osama Obama, he is still shouting as a campaign consultant but no one is listening.
Ann, we know Linc Chafee and his dad were libs but you can frame the argument better than this.
What torqued me off even more about the NRSC is that they are running TV attack ads against Lincoln's Chafee's conservative opponent, Steve Laffey.
Check out the following link for the "Chafee vs. Laffey" story from the 8/29/2006 "Special Report With Brit Hume" broadcast:

If by "Looney Tunes" you mean non-neocon, true conservatives who can think for themselves instead of eating up every line the Bush administration feeds them, then that's a pretty accurate description.
Is Harville a conservative cartoonist or independent? I like his work.
I have no idea. But the cartoon fit.
What just really torqued me off in the last hour (so much that I can barely see straight) is that the NRCC just announced that they're spending $122,000 in a local primary race supporting the already well-financed RINO scumbag running behind the principled conservative in the race. Steve Huffman has been running a dirty campaign full of the worst lies. He is one of the most liberal Republicans in the State House of Reps but he's suddenly lying and calling himself a "conservative" and pretending to be a border hawk. He received outgoing RINO Jim Kolbe's endorsement early on and has been plugged into his HUGE fundraising apparatus. To no avail. The clear favorite according to the opinion polls is conservative Randy Graf who has had far less money to spend on the campaign.
Now, here comes the NRCC to insert themselves into a local race where there is no incumbent to endorse and finance the liberal RINO candidate. And Huffman is the ONLY primary candidate that they're supporting this year in any race.
This is my district and I've worked hard with the rest of the grassroots Republicans to see Randy Graf get elected. We are angry behond belief that a national-level allegedly unbiased Republican committee would inappropriately take a side in this race and give so much help to the worst, most liberal candidate.
I can understand when a PAC or two gets involved in a race. But the NRCC is supposed to be neutral until the general election. Or, at the very least, only support the incumbent. This move is infuriating especially because, as usual, they're bending over backwards to support the liberal in the race.
Grrrr....
I see you failed reading comprehension.
