It follows that one of the most sensational charges leveled against the Bush White House -- that it orchestrated the leak of Ms. Plame's identity to ruin her career and thus punish Mr. Wilson -- is untrue.

Game, set and match, as to team Bush attempting to deflect and marginalize, its critics, on this matter, but Scooter is still in trouble on perjury charges, which have nothing to do with who leaked what, when, and whether it was illegal. It appears the leak was not illegal, and Scooter leaked "late." Scooter it appears to me had poor legal advice, or no legal advice, before he testified, for a host of reasons. I could more into that, but I am going to bed, instead.
The bottom line, is one should not lie under oath, ever, and rarely otherwise, unless a "white" lie. That is hard core wiring with me. I don't give much slack to liars. That is something I have learned over time. Just tell the truth, and let it all hang out. It does a body good.

According to Byron York (National Review), Joe and Valerie are STILL going forward w/their court case against Rove, Cheney, and Libby....Their lawyer said Armitage was just 'gossiping' and isn't included in the 'conspiracy' against them.
If they had the capacity for SHAME, they would become hermits. However, we can expect another op-ed in the NYT from Joe any day now.
Armitage, Powell, and Fitzgerald are still silent about their own perfidy.

Holy God ... the world is ending!! WaPo? You know .. you just know they would choke first before admitting this unless they knew the facts were undeniable.
Hope you all got to see Brit publicly slam Armitage, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY >>>>> bluntly nail COLIN POWELL, tonight. Thank you, Brit. The world now knows what we've known about these self-absorbed operators.
So when does Fitzie give up the ghost? He was had. The Rats and MSM got what they wanted: they sullied decent, innocent folks, in a time of war relentlessly for 3 years to plant the perception of disrepute and stained integrity (like they have) .. just in time for the '06 elections. They know the sheeple are too indiferrent and apathetic to ponder complicated and nuanced details.
Top of my list of the lowest of the low, selected by this decent and honorable President to be in his closest circle of trusted government executives in wartime, and who swore allegiance to this country and her constitution, but put ego, pettiness, petulance, power and politics first. And STILL, they don't have the cojones to fess up like men and save the innocents needless further abuse:
Feel free to add more.

(They (Rats) think of this WOT as Bush's war, not America's war-RichardMiniter, respected OBL author)
WE'RE RELUCTANT to return to the subject of former CIA employee Valerie Plame because of our oft-stated belief that far too much attention and debate in Washington has been devoted to her story and that of her husband, former ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV, over the past three years.
This is from the Washington Post??
The same newpaper that Walter Pincus writes for???
They say to much attention has been given???
Nevertheless, it now appears that the person most responsible for the end of Ms. Plame's CIA career is Mr. Wilson
And now they are pointing the finger at Wilson himself ???
Ok .. what gives cause this all SMELLS

(Think about it .. A Speaker Nancy Pelosi would be just 2 heart beats away from being President)
Please tell me this is true and I'm not dreaming.
All the false accusations that have been flying around out of the mouths of the liars, the innocent lives that now have a scar on them, the millions of tax-payers money [$24 million I think it was at last count] the damage it's done to President Bush and Administration, and the cost and damage to Libby's career, all because two trailer trash individuals wanted to be the talk of the town.
I hope this isn't the end of this saga. Hopefully the next chapter will be the trials of the two responsible and all those who aided and abetted them from top government officials, Tim Russert, Larry Johnson, Ray McGovern and down to the cleaning lady if they had any part in it.
I'd sure like to be on the Wilson's/Plame jury. If it was up to me they'd never see daylight again.

( What happened to 'Able Danger'? and which Clinton has all the missing FBI files?)
This is what has never made sense to me: I still have Sen. Roberts statements and report from the Senate Intelligence Committee that says that what Wilson told the Committee in private session actually bolstered the Bush administration.
Iraq was indeed trying to purchase yellowcake uranium from Niger. So why in the world would the Bush administration need to discredit Wilson or his wife?
The entire thing was a made up "scandal" and that Republicans didn't better defend the administration is in itself scandalous.
