Okla. City Memorial Includes Evidence(Oklahoma City Bombing)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - FBI evidence that helped convict Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols went on display Friday at the Oklahoma City bombing memorial, even as a congressman and others continue to raise questions about the 1995 explosion that killed 168 people.

The display includes items ranging from mangled pieces of the truck used in the explosion to the automatic Glock handgun taken from McVeigh when he was arrested by a state trooper 90 miles from the bombing site.

``Hopefully, the exhibit will answer some of the questions the public has regarding the investigation,'' said Nancy Coggins, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. ``The evidence we have on display was never viewed by the public because of the nature of the closed trials.''

Charlie Hangar, the trooper who stopped McVeigh because his 1977 Mercury Marquis did not have a license plate, was scheduled to attend the exhibit's opening.

Kari Watkins, executive director of the museum, said conspiracy theories will always be linked to the bombing.

``This exhibit is not going to make those theories go away, nor will anything else,'' Watkins said. ``What it does show is methodical police work at all levels and how they worked together without boundaries to solve this crime.''

"Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., still plans to conduct hearings to explore ``possible foreign connections'' to the Oklahoma City bombing, said his chief of staff Rick Dykema. The congressman is chairman of the Oversight Investigations Subcommittee of the International Relations Committee."

I wonder who took the license plate off of McVeigh's car so he would be more easily caught? The OKC bombing was bigger than Timmy.

Does it include the video of the explosion and the additional suspects?

So why does the Bush admin, which, according to Jayna, knows full well about the "coverup" continue their silence on this matter? Why is the current administration not highlighting the coverup instead of propogating it?

When I asked her that question, she told me I'd have to buy the latest edition of her book.

What is your response?

LMAO! They've proven inept at merely defending themselves even when the truth is on their side. Attacking the Dems is totally out of the question.

In her book the conclusion was that the coverup was bi-partisan in nature. So both parties had much to lose by changing the final report.

A good book to read is "Others Unknown." It was written by McVeigh's former lawyer before 9/11. Nichols ties to Al Quaida in the Philippines were not fully explored. Since it was the (Clinton) government prosecuting the case against McVeigh and Nichols, they were less then helpful in releasing information on Nichols overseas actions. It is a very eye opening book.

I'm not saying that Timmy wasn't guilty, but you are right that OKC was much bigger than we have been lead to believe. I feel that it is criminal for the press and the current administration to keep this information quiet. I suppose at this point in time, the reaction would just be eye rolling and "tin foil hat" responses.

Sincerely

______________

Which is, of course, the only conclusion that one can reach if one believes a coverup exists. Which also means that we are not being fed, as Lexington Green put it (hence the ping LG) a phony Clintonista history, but a history that protects folks on both sides of the aisle.

Are there any unconsumed ANFO crystals from this alleged 4000+ lb device in the exhibit?
