"Some of the Big Elephants move slowly....but I believe they will back her after she wins the Primary!"

I'm so hoping this will happen! Katherine Harris would be awesome in the Senate.

While I'm not a Nelson supporter, I am shocked that MoveOn.org is supporting him. I didn't realize he was that bad. Accepting their support says a lot for Nelson too.

>>Because two years ago, she was asked not to run for the Senate, and she obliged, and won a second term in the House.
She was ready then, and she is readier now.
<<

Unfortunately, I have to disagree !

She should have run for Senate 2 yrs ago, or 4 yrs ago, when she had more momentum from her brave stand at the November Election, she was a GOP superhero back then,
since then, Dubya and Rove have turned their backs on her .

Those two don't support her Senate bid, they never have, they never will !

The RNC leadership has been hijacked by RINO's like Liddy Dole ~

Also, this year may not be good for Republicans in general .

Didn't Katherine win in a district that is 70 percent Republican? I have heard that time and again and find that not to telling on how the whole state of Florida will vote. I am a Pennsylvanian so we have our own issues. I was just wondering about her district. For example, I am hardly impressed with Hillary Clinton for winning her Senate seat when New York is basically democratic. That is the claim I hear about Katherine and her House seat. Just want to know...if I am wrong great, if not than I just hope that Katherine can muster up the votes throughout the state.

When Katherine Harris won statewide election for Secretary of State with 54% of the vote, Republicans represented 40% of registered voters.

In the FL 13th Congressional District 2002 and 2004 races, Republicans accounted for 48% and 46% of District 13 voters, respectively. Katherine Harris won each election with 55% of the vote.

Why did she give up a Congress seat for life for a premature run at the Senate?

The momentum for a landslide is building.... just give it time.

Also, this year may not be good for Republicans in general .

A major accomplishment was reversing W and his 'advisors' on the Miers SC nomination. When we defeat Chaffee in the primaries and Harris wins hers that will make it even a better year.

I hope Santorum wins but he may have cooked his own goose selling the out the conservative base to the WH by indorsing Specter's re election and committee top chair appointment.
It's high time the RNC learns who does the electing.

Could you be more specific???? I don't see your connection.
