We learned Ramos was stationed at Campo for a while. Ramos and family members were happily suprised at the level of support.
Good report. A report about the border patrol situation was on Lou Dobbs tonight. The sentencing for one of the agents is next week and the other in about 2 weeks. The Justice Department and Homeland Security need to answer a few questions regarding this travesty. All of this needs to be stopped right away.
Thanks for the post.

Is Ramos's wife pregnant? I heard one of the wives was about to have a baby.
RINO Dreier didnt make it?
Listened to much of the Ken and John show from Ontario today and heard that there is now a delay in sentencing.....
Also heard my congressman,....Rohrbacher call in and lambast President Bush on this Fiasco....
Rohrbacher was great!!!
That would have been a riot if he got face to face with the dynamic duo.....
Campean's wife is due the end of September
props for these two fine border patrol agents!!!!
They were blown AWAY by the support. Their home town is against them - open borders town, their son had to change schools. His wife told me they have felt all alone. There were tears, grins, a very emotional night.
Wow, I imagine so. What an ordeal for these families. Are they getting any support from the people in their area or outlying areas? How about other BP guys?
What a shame. They must move when their ordeal is over
Hi all, A post about Border Patrol Agent Ramos thanks to Ladycalif. This is an unoffical ping list and it's going to be pretty low volume. A few people have asked to be removed and a couple of people have asked to be put on. I apologize if I've added your name and you're not a fan of ping lists. Just send me an FR mail and I'll remove your name if you're not interested. Thanks.
Thanks for the link. Signed!
With one of W's "worst" appointments (other than Min-utta, who Bush kept on at DOT for 6 years after taking office) that bumbling, PC, inefective, idiot, Chertooof, in charge (and I would not be a bit surprised if he okay ed this entire charade and travesty) I would not hold my breath for any forthcoming revelations or mea culpas from Dept. of Homeland [IN]Security!!!!
I would suggest if (and I fear when) these guys get hammered, a phone/letter/fax/email campaign to the White House, the likes of which they have NEVER experienced, "urging" W to pardon these brave heroes.
I'm speechless.
sw
They have my support.
When is the insanity going to stop?
Cheroff was also in the daddy Bush administration. Too much cronyism for me.
What an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE for the White House and GOP "majority" in Congress. And they wonder why this fall's election will be close...
These guys have my total support. I decided they were in the right when BP said and did nothing about their actions when the incident occurred- it was only later when there was an outcry from Mexico. Then all the sudden their actions that day were wrong? I don't think so. I think they were made scapegoats to appease Mexico.

Why are these guys going to prison, they should be getting an award.
I don't know.
We can not let them go to prison.
Something is VERY fishy with all of this. Apparently, come individuals at high levels in the U.S. Government are directly involved in, and profiting from, the drug trade. How sad.
