@$$holes, all of them.
That's the point-
The sons of these people are VOLUNTEERING to fight in Iraq and their hippie-boomer parents are finding new youth in being "war protesters"
Police need to stop disruptive activities in residential areas.
What are those laying on the grass? Pairs of boots?
a few week back in Boston area
BOSTON A national group of military families are so adamant the United States should pull out of Iraq they are literally taking their fight to the homes of U.S. congressmen...a group of concerned families and veterans will set up a vigil at the South Boston family residence of U.S. Congressman Stephen Lynch, urging him to take action and call for an end to battle.
(SNIP)
According to Lynchs spokesman, Matt Ferraguto, the womans phone calls and e-mails were always returned and during his last trip in Iraq he requested to meet with her daughter who was unable to attend because of logistics.
(SNIP)
Ferraguto said Lynch supports every responsible effort to bring our troops home safely, and he deeply respects the right to protest.
Lynch has shown strong support for the men and women in service by visiting Iraq five times, pushing for an additional $250 million for personal body armor and is one of the only members of Congress to draft a plan to safely withdraw from Iraq, Ferraguto said.
Any FReepers live around there?
Yes. Those are military boots.
"Did somebody call my office ahead of time?" Rohrabacher asked. "I met with people all last week, I talked to them about the war . But unlike you, they were courteous, they were not arrogant."
Excellent responses. ping
"They returned with a giant mock check for an "endless war" and put it on the doorstep of Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Huntington Beach. Then, one by one, they placed black combat boots on the grass. The boots had tags with names of soldiers killed in Iraq."
Good for Rohrbacher, standing up to this mob of mini-Moores.
The Congressman is in need of Moonbat repellant!
thanks for the ping
Geez.
So if we all choose to show up on their doorsteps, provided they all have homes, and chant anti-peaceniks slogans I wonder if these lunatics would have a problem with that? Somehow I think they would.
Losers.
Congressman Dana Rohrabacher did a great job standing up to the fools.
What is wrong with these parents? The last thing these brave young men or women need are parents behaving badly....The teacher whose son is a Marine probably joined the corp just to piss her off.....
I have twins who were born when their sister was 11 months old. I can truly sympathize with his anger at having them awakened. One gets very few moments of peace in that situation.
Ooooops, didn't read the entire article. Got interrupted by a pesky retail customer...
What swine. Self-centered little creeps who have no respect for others at all.
He should have called the police, and at a minimum had them arrested for disturbing the peace and treaspassing
